I am not into Gish Galloping with wing nuts sorry bro...ask your multipliers question when they are giving you the Nobel Prize ...any day now your absolute genius will be recognized..

So in other words, you are yet another partisan spinster with NO INTEREST in any aspect of the theory you support. Where DID those projections of 6 or 8 degC rise by 2100 come from? When were they made, and what are they TODAY... Fuck your oil company conspiracy theory. The Warmers have pretty much destroyed themselves with their exaggerated claims and screwing with open scientific process. Didn't NEED Exxon money to FAIL at VIRTUALLY EVERY PREDICTION they've made -- in just 3 decades. No more accurate than Nobel Prize winner Al Gore on the topic.. Smarter? Sure -- but they got on a gravy train of unlimited money for anything Global Warming and HAD to Exaggerate to make the sponsors happy..

The Mainau Declaration 2015 on Climate Change The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings

I can see why Billy is melting down. 36 Nobel laureates for, and only one against. That even beats 97%.

Giaver, the sole dissenter, is 86 years old. His climate science just stinks, the same dumb denier fallacies that have been debunked so many times. It's hilarious how the best the deniers can do now is getting one senile scientist on their side. They're actually bragging about it. I guess when that's all you've got, you have to fixate on it.

Fucktard hairball lies again.... there were 65 (that's sixty five) attendees. Got to laugh at your lying and intentional misdirection. Right on cue...

But...but...but...consensus...settled science!

BWhaaaaaaa COOK ET AL.... Epic FAIL

The meme that 97% of scientists support AGW is a lie.

Why not?

prove its a lie right now ...prove it....you are just another drooler prove that scientist are on your side of this issue asshole

In the scientific field of climate studies – which is informed by many different disciplines – the consensus is demonstrated by the number of scientists who have stopped arguing about what is causing climate change– and that’s nearly all of them. A survey of 928 peer-reviewed abstracts on the subject 'global climate change' published between 1993 and 2003 shows that not a single paper rejected the consensus position that global warming is man caused(Oreskes 2004).
Cook Et Al is a perfect example of the lie. Cook took all papers written on the subject (11,964 to be exact) threw out all but 74 (because they did not conform to his agenda) and then claimed that only 3 papers dissented. Giving him his 97% number.

Legates Et Al contacted the researchers of those papers and discussed at length their real positions. They also contacted many others of the discarded papers. they found out that Cook misrepresented their positions in nearly all cases and that only 3 papers of the indicated that MAN was the sole cause of our current warming...

COOK LIED! and all the papers supporting Cooks lie are also fabricated.

When all papers are considered the percentage of papers which claimed man is the sole cause was 0.03%.

Now that is an EPIC FAIL...

Something is Affecting the Entire Solar System

PLANETOPHYSICAL STATE OF THE EARTH AND LIFE
A doubling of the Sun's coronal magnetic field during the past 100 years
http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v399/n6735/full/399437a0.html
The solar wind is an extended ionized gas of very high electrical conductivity, and therefore drags some magnetic flux out of the Sun to fill the heliosphere with a weak interplanetary magnetic field1,2. Magnetic reconnection—the merging of oppositely directed magnetic fields—between the interplanetary field and the Earth's magnetic field allows energy from the solar wind to enter the near-Earth environment. The Sun's properties, such as its luminosity, are related to its magnetic field, although the connections are still not well understood3,4. Moreover, changes in the heliospheric magnetic field have been linked with changes in total cloud cover over the Earth, which may influence global climate5. Here we show that measurements of the near-Earth interplanetary magnetic field reveal that the total magnetic flux leaving the Sun has risen by a factor of 1.4 since 1964: surrogate measurements of the interplanetary magnetic field indicate that the increase since 1901 has been by a factor of 2.3. This increase may be related to chaotic changes in the dynamo that generates the solar magnetic field. We do not yet know quantitatively how such changes will influence the global environment.

First Photos of Water Ice on Mercury Captured by NASA Spacecraft
More than 20 years ago, Earth-based radar imaging first spotted signs of water ice near Mercury's north and south poles — a surprise, perhaps, given that temperatures on the solar system's innermost planet can top 800 degrees Fahrenheit (427 degrees Celsius).

Many more links are in the video for those who are really curious about nature, and the fact that our solar system IS in fact traveling around the Galactic Core. As it does, it experiences changes. Our ancestors knew this, and warned us that these changes were coming and to be prepared. In many different cultures they knew these global changes were in store. They are now happening. Get used to it.

The fact that some elites realize that these changes are happening, and are hiding the causes from the masses, and the fact that they have decided to use them to create a global government with global taxation on the poor and middle class, to use these changes as a mechanism to tighten their political control on the masses, is analogous to the shaman and the chief of a stone aged tribes realizing that a solar eclipse is a natural phenomena, but none the less using it's prediction as a sign that they are divinely endowed by the spirits and the gods with the right to rule over their people.

It's despicable is what it is.

The man is one of the smartest people on the planet in the physics world. Yet without even a shred of credible evidence you attack him.

You are a left wing idiot shill. Nothing more.

For you Right winger the word "anthropogenic" means caused by folk's activities...us humans

Of more than 4,000 academic papers published over 20 years, 97.1% agreed that climate change is anthropogenic

Cook’s 97% consensus is a case study of Agnotology – ignorance and misinformation.

In the latest volley, from Legates et al 2013, John Cook’s “97% consensus” survey has become the case study in agnotology. Based on incorrect results, a flawed method, and a logical fallacy, it kept key facts hidden while sloppily blending vague language into a form that is easily and actively misinterpreted. That it passed peer-review is another damning indictment of peer review.

Cook still refuses to provide about half the data, but the data that has been made public shows (after some digging) that a mere 41 papers out of 12,000 was called a 97% consensus. The trick is that Cook et al interchangeably use different definitions of consensus.

Climate Change Vital Signs of the Planet Consensus

1309_Temp_anomaly.jpg

Temperature data from four international science institutions. All show rapid warming in the past few decades and that the last decade has been the warmest on record.

Multiple studies published in peer-reviewed scientific journals
1show that 97 percent or more of actively publishing climate scientists agree: Climate-warming trends over the past century are very likely due to human activities. In addition, most of the leading scientific organizations worldwide have issued public statements endorsing this position. The following is a partial list of these organizations, along with links to their published statements and a selection of related resources.

Because the Consensus is now shown fraud in professional circles they are in all out attack mode. they can not allow the fact that most scientist do not believe in CAGW and its lies to get out.

Every one of those organizations have a very small group of POLITICIANS in charge of them and they NEVER get the information form those they purport to represent about what it is they actually believe. In other words your appeal to authority is BULL SHIT!

The AGU is a prime example of the "controlling body" being out of touch with reality and those whom they represent.

The period from 1920 to 1940 was FOR THEM -- "also the warmest on record" It's ludicrous to compare our modern instrumented records to what we know of the past 1000s of years. Because THOSE studies are incapable of recording a 50 or 60 year spike like we're seeing now.. The public has been fed the exaggerated Sesame Street version of what's happened in Climate Science over the past 30 years or so.

The scientific orgs issuing those public statements never polled their membership or put the issue up for discussion. These are front office statements akin to the impact of a HallMark card. In the few instances where these statements HAVE been opened up to the membership -- it gets so contentious -- that no NEW statements are released.

From the link........

Giaever said his climate research was eye opening. “I was horrified by what I found” after researching the issue in 2012, he noted.

“Global warming really has become a new religion. Because you cannot discuss it. It’s not proper. It is like the Catholic Church.”

The same way God is faith based, can neither be proven nor disproven but always requiring faith;
And the same way both Evolution and Creation require faith because none of us was there to
witness the Big Bang or any other stages either, so that is faith based and never fully proven or disproven;
why isn't it clear, by just the logic alone, that belief or disbelief in "Global Warming" is faith based,
and can never be fully proven or disproven. Thus, if we cannot depend on this to be established or
agreed upon, as either true false proven or disproven, it makes sense NOT to depend on it and
to operate so effectively that we AGREE what is ethical, sustainable, and in best interests of the greater
good WITHOUT relying on any conditions that "Global Warming" "God" "Creation/Evolution" is true or false.

We should act independent of these, and figure out where we agree on the best solutions and actions anyway!
Why impose a faith-based condition that isn't going to be met or resolved.

You might as well judge people by whether or not they believe in Jesus, which is faith based also.
If that is a free choice, to interpret Christ Jesus as True Justice, the so should Global Warming or any other faith-based concept be recognized as such, and up to the free will and choice of people without fear of insult or attack.
