No indictments in Sandra Bland death

[...]

Every LEO is trained to remove anything that could be used as a potential weapon against an officer when making a traffic stop. Cups of hot coffee. Lite cigarettes, Car keys.

Anything.
Really? And who conceives and executes these training regimens? The U.S. Supreme Court? No. Cops do. And the only reason you so eagerly conform with the donut-shop interpretation of these ambitious Gestapo notions is because no one has put you on a witness stand and challenged what you believe to be a cop's right to treat ordinary citizens like armed murder suspects.

This case is one minor example of the abuses inflicted upon ordinary citizens every day by low-IQ cossacks in the name of Officer Safety. But the emerging reality where police conduct is concerned, largely as the result of video evidence, is sure to bring about changes which you are not going to like.

If it's safety you want you've picked the wrong job. I recommend the Postal Service to you.

A lite cigarette qualifies all day.

You get one thrown in your face by someone you have no idea about and then get back to us asshole.
How many citizens have thrown hot coffee in a cop's face, or attacked cops with lit cigarettes during traffic stops? If it happens once in every few years you believe that makes it okay to treat everyone you stop for some petty traffic offense like a concentration camp inmate. In fact the only reason you get away with this nonsense is no one challenges you.

Sandra Bland did -- and if she hadn't committed suicide your Gestapo brotherhood would have gotten away with another abuse of police authority.

Anyway as usual the LIB cop haters are almost always on the losing side.

Just like in this case.

A jury of 8 negro and 4 whites just deadlocked on another case against a negro LEO.

Still wearing your 'HUDS' T-shirt in public asshole? Thought not.

Re: your personal insults and ad hominem nonsense:

Keepers at NYC's Bronx Zoo have installed plexiglas barriers beyond the bars of some cages in the primate exhibit because the monkeys therein are known to defecate into their hands and throw it when something upsets them. The monkeys do this when they are frustrated because all that a monkey in a cage can do when he doesn't like something is throw shit.

Ignorance and stupidity are metaphorical cages. Personal insults and empty ad hominem comments are analogous to handfuls of shit to be tossed out in place of intelligent, reasoned, logical arguments.

She gave no specific indication that she would commit suicide. So much so, that her family has argued that she didn't commit suicide. Using the lack of any indication she would commit suicide as their primary evidence.

You can't rightly argue 'criminal negligence' for failing to prevent an act that even the family admits had no indication of occurrence.

The family's assessment alone would equal reasonable doubt. Making any prosecution an expensive, pointless exercise. This is a tort situation. Perhaps a job costing outcome.

But criminal? No.
No such indication of suicidal intention or proclivity is required to impose the responsibility of suicide prevention upon jail administrators. It is assumed that people who are imprisoned are subject to extreme depression and extremely abnormal behavior.

When inmates are confined in cells all of the implements useful to suicide (belts, shoelaces, etc.) are removed. A correction officer must be assigned to patrol cell blocks at regular intervals to confirm that each confined inmate is present and alive. This is in accordance with federal regulations contained in the 1964 Omnibus Law Enforcement Standards Act.

When this issue goes to court, unless the administration of the jail where Bland committed suicide can offer an acceptable reason why she was able to kill herself while in their custody you will see heads roll and another multi-million dollar damage award

OK so then why did you say that if you cant think of anything? You just wanted SOMETHING to happen?
When incompetent, shit police work leads to a death, I think something should happen yes.
but you don't know? You just want social justice to out-rule fact. A good word to describe that is "limp wrist"
I would like the officers involved to lose their jobs and monetary compensation.
for what?
Gross misconduct, wrongful imprisonment, negligence resulting in death
Lost your crying towel?
