She's done this more than once. She bows to political pressure and reverses course. Her first answer to the Civil War question was the right one.

Ok. Give me the last successful presidential candidate who never had to walk back a statement.

Nikki’s problem is that she’s a Republican and conservative – a member of a party that is incapable of, and has contempt for, sound, responsible governance and promotes failed, wrongheaded conservative political dogma.

Are open borders considered sound and responsible government? Out of curiosity, how many other countries practice this form of sound and responsible government? Name them if you will.

The last six Republican administrations were failures – leaving the country worse off than at the beginning of their respective terms in office; Trump’s being the most failed and disastrous.

Trump or Haley, it makes no difference – voting for a Republican for president is the definition of insanity.

Yeah, in the Republican sphere of influence, if you say something stupid, just keep digging that hole until all the Republicans are in that hole right there with you. Woop Woop Trump style.

Haley is a neocon, John Bolton with an inferior mustache. Going after big corporations for more taxes while on the board of Boeing. Right. The same old good politician/bad politician we see every day. Will the circle jerk be unbroken? Not this year.

Reading posts from loonies pretending controlled borders are open got old years ago.

She could never quite answer why she worked for the blob.
Of course by avoiding the debates, the blob never had to answer why he hired such an unqualified woman whom he thinks is unamerican all of the sudden.

Nobody who votes for the blob is going to ask themselves that either...it makes their brain hurt to question their lord and master.

I can only assume then, that you can’t name any country (other than the US with Biden as president) that practice an open border policy.

I guess if you considered controlled to mean if you show up at the border you are welcomed in.
The record level of unauthorized crossings has strained federal and local resources in communities across the U.S. — from small towns like Eagle Pass, Jacumba Hot Springs, California, and Lukeville, Arizona — to large cities, such as Denver, Chicago and New York. It has also upended the politics of immigration, putting Democrats on the defensive ahead of the 2024 election.

And now she walks back her comment on Texas and secession.

You really are a moron, aren't you, pretending a controlled border is an open border as you've been instructed to do.

I will give you the benefit of the doubt.
Do you think we have an issue at the southern border? Do you have any concern about the huge number of undocumented people entering the US through the southern border? What frame work policy would you favor regarding the number of people allowed into the US through the southern border?
My view- We need to allow people in through a controlled and orchestrated process. A process which does not overwhelm our ability to support and document ho is entering. Our entitlement programs are the largest part of our budget and hence our national debt. Adding new arriving immigrants to that system only exacerbates the problem.

She has a history of that for sure. The fact that she is so unpopular in her home state is not a good look.
