Andrew Scheer has no chance of winning the election. Since Trudeau was elected, Conservatives have won provincial elections in 5 provinces and things were looking grim. But the Convservatives won one a single issue - by opposing the carbon tax, and in Ontario, the Liberal Premier was the most incompetent, inept politician ever seen in the Province, that is until they elected Doug Ford.

The problem is that outside of Alberta, Conservatives policies are pretty unpopular, the Conservatives immediately reverted to form, and started behaving like they always do. Doug Ford, who promised that no teachers or nurses would lose their jobs in his Administration, announced cuts to education, increasing class sizes, and requiring high school students to take online classes. Then announcing the firing of hundreds of teacher - 200 public school teachers in Peel Regiona alone, and that's just one school board in the province. The biggest cuts are to high schools, added to which there is no provision for providing computers or access for those online courses.

Wash, rinse and repeat for health care. He cancelled the increase in the minimum wage, and tried to roll back previous increases, and cut programs for the elderly. Not only their business license, but they face a minimum $10,000 fine per illegal employee to boot. I once lost my SIN card and had difficulty getting it replaced because my birth wasn't registered, and I needed a birth certificate to get a new card. I was nearly fired from my new job because I couldn't produce a SIN card. When I explained my situation, my employer helped me replace my SIN card, but it was very dicey until I proved to them that I the SIN number I had given them was really mine.

But Trump is stopping people from crossing the border at Ports of Entry and even closing Ports of Entry to prevent aslyum seekers from making the claim. He's "metering" those waiting to cross, driving them into the arms of coyotes who will get them across the border where they approach border patrol guards to claim asylum. This is a deliberate strategy because Trump is using those "crimes" as the excuse for kidnapping and imprisoning their children.

His new policy is say if you crossed Mexico, you have to apply there first. Meaning that those thousand of people who are currently waiting in Mexico will never be allowed in. You think that the thousand who have been waiting patiently to be metered into the country, are going to wait any longer. This intended EO, will lead to more illegal crossings, not fewer, from those who waited as asked.

Every single policy enacted by this President has lead to INCREASES in the number of illegal border crossings and that's a deliberate stategy. Create a crisis so that you can be seen to solving it and are therefore a hero, is a classic strategy of despots and strongmen the world over.
