So, what do you think about a bunch of outsiders deciding what is going to happen in your country?
It is a common misunderstanding that Palestine was an Arab country.
Palestine was never a country throughout most of history. It was never a political or legal entity until the Jewish homeland was reestablished there in the early 20th century.
Palestine was part of sovereign Ottoman Turkey and viewed by Arabs as southern Syria.
The Ottoman Turks gave Jews permission to immigrate, when they purchased land...from Arab landowners. Subsequently, the Palestine Mandate permitted full Jewish immigration into Palestine.
Arabs were, for the most part, tenant farmers and sharecroppers with little ownership of land.
Thus, Arabs were and are in no position to have any say over Palestine.
