Apparently, you are unfamiliar with the concept of representative democracy. If the majority of Israelis wanted new elections now, their representatives in the Knesset would force the government to call for new elections. The protestors are in the street precisely because they do not represent the majority of Israelis.

It is exactly how it is over there. Parliament voted Netanyahu out of office in 2021 but didn't like what they replaced him with so put him back into office in 2022.

Under Netanyahu's unprecedented long time as leader of Israel, the Israelis rank 19th in the world in standard of living for their citizens and that tiny country with with fewer than 10 million people is among the top 20 countries in per capita GDP. Their individual liberties compare with ours. They have been enjoying economic prosperity, a national debt that is going down instead of up, lower taxes than most OECD countries, and lower inflation than most developed countries.

Hardly a banana republic.
