Elizabeth Warren made an ad in her kitchen with her husband. Donald Trump saw it as an opportunity to mock Elizabeth Warren and pit her against Native Americans:

Trump tweeted that if Ms.Warren “did this commercial from Bighorn or Wounded Knee instead of her kitchen, with her husband dressed in full Indian garb, it would have been a smash!”

But instead of being angry at Warren, Native Americans condemned Trump:

In a statement, Jefferson Keel, the president of the National Congress of American Indians, condemned, “in the strongest possible terms, the casual and callous use of these events as part of a political attack.”

“Hundreds of Lakota, Cheyenne, and Arapaho people lost their lives at the hands of the invading U.S. Army during these events,’’ he said, “and their memories should not be desecrated as a rhetorical punch line.”

Epic fail.

GREAT NEWS! After almost 200 years, the Democrats have finally noticed and care about something related to our native Americans! Drinks all around.

The video shows how hard Warren was trying to be a normal person and failing miserably. I was waiting for her to wish all her Native American friends a Happy Winter Solstice and to her Black friends a Happy Kwanzaa. :21:

Custer's Last Stand was a major victory for the Indians. Sure the warriors outnumbered Custer and his troops (mostly teenage Irish immigrants) and the warriors out gunned Custer and his troops by 4 to 1, but why would that be offensive to fake news contributor at fake new NY Times Ruth H. Hopkins and why should anyone give a fuck what she thinks? Wounded Knee was similar but the Indians lost that one. Either way President Trump's comment was very funny because the battles he alluded to were those in which the Indians fought for their race for better or worse.

The Indians would be better off if they stopped sponging off the taxpayers, left their reservations, and got real jobs.

Sorry but this has little to do with Democrats...

Trump insulted Native Indians and the directed there anger back... Where is the Democrats on this? Not everyone that thinks Trumps behaviour is awful are Democrats, many are just decent normal people...

The Indians have focused their efforts on taking Indian symbols off of sports teams, which is a really stupid way to spend their time.

Better tell the people in Wiki they are all wrong:
Wounded Knee Massacre - Wikipedia
"In 1990, both houses of the U.S. Congress passed a resolution on the historical centennial formally expressing "deep regret" for the massacre"

Hang on that means you are a bullshit artist from bullshit mountain... So your posts are full of bullshit...

So the question is:
Do you believe your own Bullshit or do you know it is Bullshit before you tell us?

It used to be the Indians were respected as worthy enemies who fought bravely against the odds.

Now, thanks to liberals, Indians are portrayed as pathetic victims.

I think the Indians were better off before liberals "corrected" their image.

My family drove through an Indian reservation many years ago. It looked like a inner city slum, stuck in a desert. The dry river beds were full of wrecked cars, dumped in there by the Indians when they no longer functioned.

One guy said something, he does not speak for all Indians, anymore than Al Sharpton speaks for all blacks.

Your post didn't address the Native American response to Trump. Comments please. Don't dodge.

It was the response of one man. He does not speak for all Indians, only himself.

The man you cite is the President of the oldest, largest, and most representative American Indian group in the USA. And others were quoted in the article.

So you now want to call the Wounded Knee Massacre a fair fight...

It only those out numbered women and children gave a few back they could have won?

The OP misses the point, which is that Elizabeth Warren falsely claimed to have Indian ancestry in order to get a position at Harvard as an affirmative action "woman of color." That's academic fraud, which is usually grounds for termination of employment, even if you have tenure.
