And why should I not bring up CFCs? Same problem there, someone got their profits stepped on when we realized the damage they were doing and banned them. Same with GHGs, just a bit harder to do, although now that the alternatives are cheaper than other forms of generation, and we have developed grid scale batteries to the point that we can make the alternatives 24/7, the economics now favor the sane people in our nation.
