Trump has created one of the best economies, lowest jobless rates, in decades with Americans receiving bonuses and higher wages....and Nancy Pelosi, determined to take back her old position as Speaker of the House - even if she can't remember it most days...has vowed the Democrats will un-do all of that, raising taxes on America and eliminating the reason so many American workers got jobs, bonuses, and higher pay!
This isn't a 'Campaign Promise' - it is a THREAT!
Pelosi says Dems will work to roll back Trump tax cuts if they retake Congress
"House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi indicated Tuesday that her party would like to roll back the tax reform law passed last year if they gain control of Congress this November."
In January, Pelosi dismissed bonuses given to workers as a result of the tax reform plan as "crumbs" -- despite the fact that some workers received bonuses worth up to $2,000.
"In March, Fox News reported that some House Democrats wanted Pelosi to step aside as leader after the party failed to win a series of special elections in 2017. Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan failed to unseat her in a leadership challenge after the 2016 elections, but did manage to get 63 votes from his fellow lawmakers."
It is brilliant PR and decisions like this - declaring they will raise taxes and strip Americans of their jobs, bonuses, and higher pay - that cost Democrats to collapse, losing the House, so long ago. I guess they have forgotten about that. Now, she thinks making this public THREAT against the American people / middle class will cause voters to rush back to the Democrats and carry them back into power.
