My Little Cucumber

I scattered a few cucumber seeds around my apartment, however, only one sprouts, beside the ball cactus.

If it excites you to see growth, that is all that matters. For future reference, you might not want to start a plant that needs a lot of water with one that will die with too much water. Either way, let us know how that works out. I meant to try cukes inside this winter but never did.

That is because you are peeling them from the wrong direction.

But yes, throw some cuke seeds down. Still plenty of time.

just a suggestion but try some Lemon cucumbers . The fruits grow to the size of lemons , oranges , are round and are kinda yellow in color . I never liked the regular long green cuke but the lemon cuke is good . No lemon cuke needs peeling in my opinion .

You could also try a fairly new variety call "Munchers"! They are great, don't grow real long are crisp & mild and you can either peel them or not...your choice!
They are the best I've found for fresh eating!
