Catholic's don't wear wimples.

well the issue here is visibility.....
if the muslims can flaunt a big flapping hijab.....then Christians should have an equally impressive cross......not just a half-hidden 'discrete' cross....
Now it's not just silly - it's childish.
If Islam requires that a woman keeps her hair covered, then the hajib shown in the photo is appropriate - it's not "big flapping" - it's pretty minimal to meet the standards required by the religion. It's not an effing competition.
Same with Christian symbolism - which, as far as I know, actually has no requirements in regards to clothing in the way Islam and Judaism do. A cross on a necklace is usually allowable even though it's not a religious requirement.
