Wow! There are no go zones in France where police are not allowed to go, as it is too dangerous in those neighborhoods. Thus, it is causing problems in the search. Just heard a French official describing it on the news.

At last count, there are 751 Sensitive Urban Zones (Zones Urbaines Sensibles, ZUS), as they are euphemistically called. A complete list of the ZUS can be found on a French government website, complete with satellite maps and precise street demarcations. You might want to read "How the Other Half Lives" by Jacob Riis. It's a study done in the late 1800's about the tenements of New York, and which racial groups controlled which streets at the time. It was exactly like the Muslim controlled sections of France are now in almost every way.
