Hattiesburg officials are being pretty close mouthed about why the two criminals opened fire on the cops. And why the first cop stopped them in the first place. I don't think there's any doubt the cops did anything wrong (besides quite probably not protecting themselves better) but it's interesting to see how Hattiesburg is getting their ducks in order before saying much.

The morning cable news shows often replay earlier segments later in the broadcast but not necessarily at the same time of the hour it originally ran.
