The only difference is that we now have an internet so that independent media can report facts to the American people that are historically ignored by media and by Washington.

Our pundits in right wing media place the "liberal" label on many of these independent media sources so that their loyal gaggle of propagandized patriots can justify their refusal to consider the murder and inhumanity that their chosen leaders are willing to endorse for the sake of profit and global re-distribution of their own wealth.

Myself and a lot of church going ppl view humans as naturally flawed. Its them flaws which ruin the pure forms of capitalism and socialism. Them flaws which make guns a necessity. Them flaws which create the need for a bill of rights.

Really if you set me in a room of 100 people I'll find a reason to dislike 90% of them and only find perhaps one worthy of being a friend.

The claim by Ecuador was from the 1960's through the 90's for damages by Texaco. Chevron bought Texaco in 2001, apparently unaware of the looming huge lawsuit for billions....or maybe once Chevron bought it, pockets suddenly ran deeper...

I must say after just a small bit of search into these abuses of the rain forest and it's people agri business again is much worse. And to top it off a few select banks assisted in this stripping of the rain forests. I'm going out on a limb here and guessing before I search farther into this that it is going to be pretty much the same crowd behind most of this and they probably are fairly well connected in the carbon credit and cap and trade fiasco.
