No one has the right to dictate to any Pastor what sermon he is going to preach nor should he be answering to anyone about such a matter. Constitutional rights are being violated. It is time to set the precedent and make an example out of this mayor and have her removed. She should be put out of office and never permitted to serve again. What she tried to do is a disgrace! Moreover, while the lawsuit claims that the Knapps have already turned away multiple same-sex couples, Gridley said that the city had received no complaints about the Hitching Post and had no idea who these couples might be.

According to the lawsuit, the city ordinance sets forth fines up to $1,000 and jail time up to 180 days for every day of a violation.
