You have a deficit on goods. The fraud is using "services" as an indicator, which is particularly inaccurate when applying it to Canada and the U.S due to their proximity and what "services" entails. I urge you to investigate "travel services" and how this applies to education and especially Snowbirds coming from Canada who purchase a home (and subsequently sell it, but the metrics won't worry about that lost currency taken from the economy). Also, who the benefactor is purchasing, say, corporate training and the sales it entails.

U.S corporations in Canada, sending employees to the U.S for education and training, which requires hotels and the like. NOT, Canadian based corporations primarily doing the same. It's a fraud and probably by design as these corporations want the numbers to be skewed, for just such purposes. A U.S based company, shipping jobs to Canada and then paying for travel, training and the like for them to be housed in the U.S for a week at a time or what have you.

You think a small nations like Canada of 35M is going to purchase and require more services than 340M would? Why do you think Canada and Ontario balked and we angry at the proposed 1:1 Public Procurement process? It's absurd how transparently we tell the U.S taxpayer to subsidize our socialism.
