Moderate Republicans Totally Fuck themselves

you mean how can real conservatives separate THEMSELVES from extremist reactionaries, don't you frrank?

because, believe me, i'm pretty sure right now that the normal republicans are wishing you guys would disappear

No one has ever quite explained it to me in terms that I can understand, so I'll ask again. How is balancing the budget an "extremist reactionary" activity? How does that stuff happen?

You people are the ones that need to answer that. We had a balance budget when you folks took over 20Jan01. Two off the book wars and tax cuts while we were at war destroyed that balanced budget. Then the policies that created October 2008 nearly created the Second Great Republican Depression. Only Daddy Bush's intervention and President Obama's stimulas and auto bailout prevented that from happening.

Now we are pulling out, ever so slowly, the ditch you guys put is in. And all of you are throwing anchors out the back, attempting to prevent any progress. It is all about preventing the President from experiancing success, and no caring at all about the effects on the American people.

The American Public understands exactly what is going on. You spent the whole of this Presidential campaign saying how the economy was whipping Obama's butt. In spite of the numerous polls that showed the majority of Americans realized that the Bush Administration and the obstructionism of the present GOP were the primary problems with our economy. And you still haven't understood the clear message of 6Nov12.

Now you are once again ignoring the polls that show that the majority of Americans support the President's position, and will blame the GOP if there are adverse economic repercusions from the 'fiscal cliff'. Remember how well it went for Gingrinch and the GOP when they did the 'shut down the government' gig. 2014 will definately demonstrate that the GOP will find that the voters will be equally impressed with this foolishness.

We had a balanced budget in 97, 98, 99 and 00.

We cut taxes and we no longer had a balanced budget.
Here's an idea...look at spending, too.

Holy crap......

I'd ask you for some of those happy pills you're popping, but I'd rather stay in reality.

Obama has zero accountability for the ditch we are even MORE in now. And, this is a cake walk compared to what's to come in '13.

I believe the word you are searching for is hypocrisy.

Feel better? Because its a wash, who screamed when bush spent us into Rut? So now that the degree of debt comparably has been blown up ? Now what?

I have always agreed spending, bush whomever, is the issue, now what? do you want to just take a pass or criticize Obama too?

Why are we still talking about Bush?

When that skinny dork Obama got elected I thought he'd be talking about Bush for a few months tops. Now whenever they need a scapegoat they feel if all else fails throw a Bush out there.

You get 18 months to whine about the prior administration. Right?

Nope. These idiots want to use Bush as an excuse forever.

Makes me want to slap someone in the adam's apple.

Shit, it wasn't too long ago we were still hearing choruses of "Clinton got a blowjob". Bush so royally fucked the country, we should at least get a few more years worth.

No, no we didn't.

The "balanced budget" was projected out to 2002 from 1998, using accounting techniques that would get you or me laughed out of the bank if we used them on a loan application.

The cutting taxes = no more balanced budget bit is non sequitur...It completely ignores the fact that Chimpola and his congressional Mickey Mouse Club expanded bureaucracy and spending at a greater rate than did their predecessors....Spending, spending, spending.

The GOP held the Senate during those years. Then the Dems took the Senate in 01. So I guess that's why the we lost the surplus. Party divisions of United States Congresses - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Do you understand the following?

1. Much of TARP and the bailout that Bush approved was spent AFTER Obama took office.

2. With the recession, BOTH tax revenues were down AND transfer payments (unemployment, food stamps, for example) were down at the same time.

3. The stimulus, while adding to the debt, was necessary to replace state funding, and private sector spending which had shrunk due to the recession.

4. The wars AND the tax cuts continued after Obama took office.

Consequently, much if not most of the increasing debt was not a result of Obama and the Democrats' policy choices.

Educate yourself:
Obama’s response leaves the false impression that President George W. Bush and the 2008 recession are responsible for a whopping 90 percent of the deficits in the last four years.

It’s true that Obama “inherited the biggest deficit in our history,” as he said on CBS. By the time Obama took office in January 2009, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office had already estimated that increased spending and decreased revenues would result in a $1.2 trillion deficit for fiscal year 2009, which began Oct. 1, 2008. In a detailed analysis of fiscal year 2009, we found that Obama was responsible for adding at most $203 billion to the deficit, which in the end topped $1.4 trillion that year.

But that was just the first of four years of trillion-plus deficits. The last three budgets fall squarely under Obama. And, during that time, the federal government ran up deficits of $1.3 trillion in 2010, $1.3 trillion in 2011, and about $1.2 trillion in the fiscal year that ends Sept. 30 — for a total of nearly $5.2 trillion in deficit spending.

FactCheck.org : Obama’s Deficit Dodge

Had we just ended the Bush tax cuts, adopted the Buffet Rule, and made that rule apply to all income from whatever source, if there was a deficit, it would be very small. Were we to do that right now, no deficit in a very short time.

But the thought of the very wealthy paying the same percentage of their income as the middle class is an anthema to our 'Conservatives'.

Let's go back to when
The poor were poor,
The rich were rich,
And you felt so damn secure,
Just knowing which was which

I wonder who will win the battle, moderates or the tea party.

Hmm.

Moderates lost in 08 and 12, got abused by a Community Organizer

Tea Party won a record setting victory in 2010.

Tough call

Scott Brown supported by the Tea Party, won in 09

Scott Brown made a spectacle of rejecting the Tea Party in 2012 (cuz he's like a Moderate) and guess what happened. Take a guess. Right! Lost to a lunatic pretending to have been an Indian!

Yeah. Tough Call

Republicans have lost the moderate vote in five of the last six Presidential elections.

Yet, no one held a gun to Obama's head when he signed it all away.

Or, is he really that much of a neocon puppet?

Yes. Let's applaud the GOP Senators. They deserve as much credit as Clinton.

And here's the thing. Republicans nominated four extremely far right wing candidates for Senate in NV DE IN and MO over the past two elections, and all lost. We would be closer to a Republican Congress if the Small Tenters hadn't gone Full Retard.

So let's run all the moderates out so the Democrats can have a veto-proof Senate. Then, let's blame everyone but the far right.

Really? Since the GOP is working to create bad times in 2013, I guess that is what you are hoping for.

Even if we go over the fiscal cliff, I look for good times in 2014 and 2015. And, should the fiscal cliff happen, may well be a Dem Congress, Dem Senate, and, of course, a Dem Executive in 2015. Then we will some real accomplishments. Have you sackcloth and ashes purchased ahead of time.

You know what, Rocks? It doesn't MATTER what the GOP or Obama do. There WILL be a recession and it is projected to be worse than this one.

I was wondering how Conservatives could separate ourselves from the moderates who want to enable Obama in his mission to continue to drag down America.

The Moderates just kicked the Conservatives off of the House Budget Committee. That means they too wear the Obama kneepads! OMG! What a gift to us! Thank you for making the distinction so crystal clear! Republican Moderates <3 Obama!!

Moderate ran McCain in 08 and lost

We ran things ourselves and 2010 and blew the doors off of Dems and Moderate Republicans

Moderate ran things again in 2012, and not surprising, lost again (on a personal note, that and the Dem performance in Madison WI during the Walker recall was why I would not be suckered into any "if Romney wins" bet)

Thank you for an early Christmas gift! We will watch you fuckers drive the economy off the cliff together Barry Thelma and Boehner Louise

Adios, Losers!

That's what happens when every single Republican Presidential candidate gets up on stage during the primaries and says they wouldn't raise taxes by $1 for every $9 in spending cuts.

Yes, yes, let's blame the moderates. That's so much easier.

And Reagan won two landslides....Never mind the fact that his actions didn't measure up to the campaign rhetoric, he still won.
