this crime involves a violation of campaign finance law, and could be used by media to explain these obscure laws to the public and perhaps call for their wider enforcement and if necessary, modification or strengthening.

but i think we know that is not going to happen. the one thing that no politician or lobbyist or media inc that runs campaign ads does not want to happen is actual application of these laws to them.

no. from a cable news standpoint this trial will be a parade of playmates and porn stars. if they are dressed frumpy for court, not to worry, there is plenty of video out there showing every square millimeter of stormy danials and (tastefully edited i'm sure) it will be running 24/7 during the trial.

do you really expect these girls to dress frumpy?

but this trial, unfortunately, is not about the girls, it is about the money.

This trial is about influencing an election, period. It's about weaponizing government to prevent Trump from being fairly elected. MAGA

Not at all.

He is accused in a 34 count indictment of "FALSIFYING BUSINESS RECORDS IN THE FIRST DEGREE" with "intent to conceal another crime." That "other crime" is not specified in the indictment, nor has the prosecutors office ever said what it might be.

You're not going to see a girly show at the trial. I don't know that there are other girls besides the Aging Golddigger Stormy, but the prosecutors will have all witnesses costumed in a way that will not offend the jury.

Then again, maybe he won't know to do that. He is a DEI, George Soros product, not some guy who earned his way up.

The other crime is bribery.

Yeah, I don't think Trump is going to win any points for attacking Daniel's personal appearance.

I should also point out that when you guys slammed Al Franken for groping a stripper at a USO Show, you guys dressed the Stripper up like a school marm when she made her do the video rounds.

Just remember, the Party of Family Values says it's okay to have sex with a porn star who looks like your daughter while your third wife is home with your fifth child.

Where does it say that? MSNBC?
Yeah, I don't think Trump is going to win any points for attacking Daniel's personal appearance.
He doesn’t need to “win point.” He just need enough votes to win.

I never dressed up no stripper no way.

Like the party of women’s empowerment said it was ok for a governor to have his state troopers bring a campaign volunteer to his office so he could drop his drawers and tell her to “kiss it?”

The trial is about Trump grifting an election's ojutcome.

He won't get that, either.

Trump is sinking in the polls, because people are starting to realize they don't want four more years of his drama.

No evidence that actually happened, and that case was dismissed.
That said, you guys can't bitch that Clinton was a cad, but what Trump does is okay...

Especially if you claim to be the "party of family values that you want to impose on the rest of us if we like it or not".

They do? You'd think there would have been a memo.

(1). Campaign finance violations are ALWAYS a "Summary" offense, punishable by a FINE. Period.
(2). The corrupt prosecutor in NYC has fashioned this case - unlike any other case in the history of jurisprudence - to be a FELONY.
(3). Given the venue, if the case reaches the point of a verdict, the verdict will be guilty, without question.
(4). The guilty verdict will be appealed and overturned, without question.
(5). The purpose of the trial is to BE ABLE TO CALL TRUMP A CONVICTED FELON before November. That's it. Everybody knows that Trump will never be incarcerated for this non-crime.
(6). Proving again that the Left is evil and the enemy of democracy.

As I have stated previously, the grotesque manipulation of the "justice" system is not the worst aspect of this series of show-trials. The worst aspect of it is that even though everyone knows it is a grotesque manipulation of the justice system, half of the voting public are fine with it.

As is demonstrated a hundred times a day on this very forum.

Here's the thing.

I think this is kind of like getting Al Capone on Income Tax Evasion. You know that he's done far, far worse things, but this is the easiest case to make. Personally, I'd like to bring the January 6th case and the Georgia Election Interference cases to trial, tomorrow. Those are FAR more serious crimes, as is the case of the documents. But Trump has managed to delay those.

Cohen WAS incarcerated for this crime. So, to claim this is a non-crime is kind of silly.

Trump was only not charged at the time because he was a sitting president, and you can't put a president on trial when he is in office.

Here's the real problem: the fact that you are willing to elect Trump despite all the crime, racism, corruption, self-dealing, misogyny, and all-around bad behavior. Especially when you have people who would simply be much better candidates.

I am a conservative and I am fine with Trump having fucked whores.
