The Police / Attorney basically told the DNC / DFL they will not 'paly their game', agreeing to an investigation of the specific claims against Ellison as reported in their 'Internal Investigation Report' in an attempt to make it seem like the Internal investigation was objective and legit. They will do an entire investigation on their own of EVERYTHING, NOT relying on some Internal report from the Democrats, or they won't do one at all....

THE DFL sent its own INTERNAL investigative Report to the Minneapolis Police Department asking them to investigate the specific claims in their report. (Talking about attempting to limit the scope of an investigation....)

The report was sent to Dakota Country Attorney James Backstrom, who responded by telling the DFL his office "would not review any investigation completed by the law firm retained by the Minnesota DFL Party or any other private investigator without the completion of an investigation by a law enforcement agency.”

(How 'refreshingly objective' - refusing to base an entire investigation on a report provided to him / them by a Democratic Party or candidate, unlike how the entire Russia Investigation / Mueller Witch Hunt was / is based on the Russian-authored debunked Dossier Hillary paid foreign spies and the Russians for.)

Monahan is still considering officially filing a criminal complaint / criminal charges against Ellison.

How so?

Democrats accuse Kavanaugh of sexual assault based on zero evidence, demand Kavanaugh call for another independent FBI investigation of himself and that if he does not it obviously means he is guilty....

In the meantime Democrats sweep the Ellison accusation under the rug by dismissing his accuser 'supported' by an INTERNAL investigation - no demand for an FBI investigation. When condemned for the 'Internal Cover-Up' perception problem, they go to local police with THEIR report findings and demand they do an investigation based on THEIR report only.....

The Minn police and AG flatly refuse to be used to give their internal investigation credibility but does offer to do an independent, objective investigation into the incident on their own ... which the Democrats decline.

So HOW do CONSERVATIVES have 'egg' on THEIR faces?

There could be a lot of speculation - like an 'insurance policy' for her protection - but it is all just that - Speculation.

In my mind, more troubling than the fact that she won't release the video is how the DFC / DNC held its own INTERNAL investigation, dismissed the accusations, and now refuses to accept the local police's offer to conduct its own independent investigation....this from the party who declared Kavanaugh to be 'Guilty Until Proven Innocent' and who declared if Kavanaugh did not call for an independent FBI investigation he was 'obviously' guilty.

More 'Do as I SAY, not as I do' hypocrisy / BS coming from the Left.....
