McCain Was For The Prisoner Exchange Before He Was Against It.

Off in the distance, out of hearing, the fake Benghazi scandal can be seen, frantically waving its arms and appearing to mouth the words,

Hey! Over here! What about ME!!!!!!!????????????

The Taliban guys were not charged with any crimes and were entitled to be released at the end of hostilities.

Ex-Bush Official: GWB Would Have Made Same Deal To Free Sgt. Bergdahl | Crooks and Liars

Former Bush administration official, John Bellinger made a great case for supporting President Obama's decision to swap five Taliban prisoners for the lone U.S. POW. In a refreshing interview, he told Fox News' Happening Now, that since the war was winding down and they couldn't have tried the Afghanistan prisoners in US courts, their only option was to free them eventually so making the trade made sense and and that George Bush would have made the same decision.

Poor Grampy.

CNN Lets John McCain Off The Hook For Shifting Support Of Prisoner Exchange | Blog | Media Matters for America CNN.

Add Grampy's name to the list of people who supported the Prisoner Exchange before they were against it.

Kelly Ayotte is another one.

Republicans Supported Release of Bowe Bergdahl Until Obama Did It (Video).

At the real and true heart of this whole Manufactured Outrage is that the exchange happened under President Obama.

If Bowe Bergdahl had died in captivity, Republicans would be demanding investigations in why Obama had allowed Bergdahl die.

This has nothing what so ever to do with the Prisoner Exchange, it's that the Prisoner Exchange occurred while Obama was in the White House.

If MittWitt was in the Oval Office and this exchange had happened, you guys would be cheering it on.

That is what is so damn disgusting.

This is not about Bergdahl, its about Obama and the hate you have for Obama and how you people cannot simply rejoice the returning the only U.S. Prisoner of War from the Invasion of Afghanistan finally coming home.

So were a lot of Democrats, what's your point?
Partisan hackery is his point. And I could give two shits about Juan McCain.

Sorry, but being for a prisoner exchange (which doesn't apply to Bergdahl since he was never a prisoner) doesn't mean being for restoring the Taliban high command.

He wasn't a prisoner?

So, holding him by force was what...?

THINK before posting.

How much force does it take to keep a man who walked into your camp and parties with you ?
Indeed. The guy sought OUT the Taliban. It was overheard on the radio in the area where they were looking for him. The Guy deserted and joined the other side.

The guy deserves NO QUARTER.

So it is hypocrisy, and just demonstrates the M.O. that whatever Obama does, the GOP has to be against it.

Democrats are against it too. And were against it when Obama first suggested it in 2011.

Dianne Feinstein recounted a classified briefing in November 2011 that she said moved her to join bipartisan letters to President Obama and then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that “registered concerns with the proposal and opposed the transfer of the [Guantanamo Bay] detainees to Qatar.”

Bowe Bergdahl Prisoner Swap ?Totally? Did Not Follow the Law, Senate Intel Chair Says - ABC News

There was a BIPARTISAN effort against it. Has nothing to do with R or D.

Are lefties comparing a Navy pilot who was shot down and endured torture in Vietnam to a Soldier who e-mailed his father that he hated his Country before abandoned his post and went over to the enemy? I don't recall any exchange that brought about McCain's release.

More proof that the Republicans are schzoid over the release of only U.S. Prisoner of War of the Afghan Invasion.

Obama could have pulled a Bush & let 10 Al-Qaeda Terrorist go for nothing in return.

Also Taliban POWs are not Al-Qaeda Terrorist or OBL that Bush let go.

Now Obama gets to kill these Taliban & all their supporters with a drone as soon as they pick up a weapon.

Obama has killed 6 times more Al-Qaeda Terrorist than Bush did in his entire 8 years in office.
