I like the way you pick and choose what is true and what is false. That "one man" you choose not to believe had far more credibility than the ones who denied his accounting of events, and it's a real stretch for you to claim King was chosen by God to attack the legacy of slavery. Slavery ended almost 100 years before he was even born. That honor should be given to the ones who actually fought and died to END slavery, not cash in on it 100 years later.

Slavery ended 100 years before the civil rights movement and still we needed an American Patriot like Martin Luther King to come forward and put an end to tyranical acts like denying the vote, rigged trials, segregation, denial of human rights and officially condoned second class citizenship

I agree that blacks were denied rights clear into the 60's, but let's remember who denied them those rights - southern Democrats. And let's remember who not only freed the slaves, but also got the Civil Rights Act passed - Republicans.

Look at any black city with it's high level of crime. That's why....

MLK was a big fat phony. According to his best friend and partner in the Civil Rights Movement, Ralph Abernathy, King was a womanizer who had a thing for white prostitutes, and he was physically abusive with them as well.
He was also a plagiarist. He stole parts of his "I have a dream" speech from another black man (a Republican).
There are plenty of black role models that would be far more positive than MLK, but blacks have been so brainwashed by the Democrats who exploit them, they're programmed to only want to follow the charlatans. Instead of advocating personal responsibility and hard work and self-reliance, they preach bigotry and dependency. With the leaders they choose, it's no wonder they're still on the bottom rung of society. You would think they would have made the connection by now.

They didn't abandon blacks, blacks abandoned them. Republicans offered them what MLK advocate (at least publicly), an even playing field but they didn't want that. They wanted to be taken care of, much in the same way they were taken care of when they were slaves, only without the chains and the whips. Can you think of any other reason blacks would consistently vote for Senator Robert Byrd, a former Ku Klux Klan member?
