Charismatic young American politician Marco Rubio is quickly establishing himself as the potential biggest roadblock to a Bush or Clinton presidential dynasty.
The meteoric rise of Rubio, a 44-year-old Florida senator, appears to be unsettling his more experienced rivals early in the 2016 election race.
Hillary Clinton's political minders for the past couple of years had been preparing to take on a white Republican male in the election, such as Jeb Bush or Wisconsin governor Scott Walker.
But the ascent of Rubio, the son of Cuban immigrants, has thrown a slight spanner in the works.
