I don't agree with that. I think Nazi Germany was fine removing the memorbilia that celebrated Hitler as a hero to the people. I think taking Bill Cosby and OJ Simpson's names off of things is ok.

Now I do agree that we shouldn't destroy these statues. I don't think that statues celebrating a rebellion for the perpetuity of slavery that were put up mostly as a division during the civil rights era belong on federal property though.
