We have strict controls on who can have a gun.....if a felon is caught with a gun they can be arrested...under existing law. If you commit a crime with a gun, you will be arrested for it......

You are so right. And this is one more example of why I strongly advocate training -- mandatory training for CCW permit holders. Too many gun owners think they know all they need to know to properly handle and when and how to deploy their weapons. But they don't. Too many of them are influenced by what they see on tv.
