The modern day news media in large part are the federal governments watchdog. They used to be the peoples watchdog but now they are in full support with Washington DC and the desires of the entrenched progressive politician. This will change one day but it will get very ugly before hand. In the years prior to the war of independence the people that wanted to kick out the king of England had to first take down the printing presses. And they did.
