On the short message service X (former Twitter), videos are circulating of a large cloud of black smoke said to have been recorded over the Russian port city of Novorossiysk. According to Russian state media, a large fire is believed to have broken out at the Novorossiysk oil terminal. However, as of today, it is still unclear whether drone strikes were involved. In some videos circulating on the Internet, smaller explosions triggered by the fire can be heard in the background. According to initial estimates, the fire covers more than 1,000 square meters.
