Losing our democracy

The middle class lost its ability to govern itself a long time ago. The right wing can't complain, they love to advocate mindless self-indulgence as much as left wing degenerates do, so there is no mass opposition to corruption; this country can no longer protect its own children at school from sick freaks and scum, after all, so it's probably best it fails and hit the restart button. A nice long depression, a few Third World type epidemics, and famine would do wonders for attitude changes, and empty out a lot of ghettoes and allow a dictator to deport a lot of scum.

Most Latin American nations are far-right winged third world nations. The only remaining left-wing nations in Latin America are Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Cuba, and they have international sanctions on them.

In America the Republicans and the established Democrats, who are really right winged (even according to Obama), are both corrupt corportist.

Both Parties' establishments embrace fascism, yes. Got to keep those proles in their proper places, lest they start getting the idea they 're real citizens or something crazy like that..

Does it matter what political system one exists in, if the $$$ is all on top?

No. All Governments reflect the people the rule over, most of the time, and Americans love corruption, and they love being lied to, so 'democracy' has been pretty much dead since the Civil War. The rise of corporate power under the wave of decades of judicial activism following the Chase Court finished that ideal off as a practical matter. If one wants real 'Change' they start with rolling back the 'Culture Wars' from it's commie base to populist versions.
