Yes. The business owners who did nothing wrong. And the good people of Ferguson who will now have to travel greater distances to find goods and services.
I saw a report featuring a Meineke Muffler shop owner. He said he may not be able to rebuild. His place was looted for the second time.
Then there is the QT convenience store. Doubtful that company will build another store there. The existing one no longer exists. It was burned to the ground. As was a BP convenience store. The city also lost a Walgreens to a fire. Total loss.
In all 25 businesses were burned to the point where they must be demolished. One entire strip shopping center was lost to fire.
Ironically, those who did this were angrily saying the reason why they were burning and looting was because there are no jobs. and demanded that all business owners rebuild "or else"..
Now, would any sane person want to invest in a community under threats and intimidation?
