Little Bobby Jindal throws tantrum ignoring voters and issueing EO legalizing discrimination

So what, you people really have a lot of nerve pointing a finger at a governor using his pen after Obama ignores congress and the courts and uses his pen. You're chickens are coming home to roost, eat it.

I'm not an Obamaphile.

Link to even one post of yours calling Obama out on him using his pen? I won't hold my breath waiting.

Go find the Israel nuclear disclosure threads. The kindly go fuck yourself.

Awww you mad bro? Look if you start a threat that's dripping with hypocrisy and double standards expect to be called out on it.

At the tired conservative line of, 'if ya don't like one of us, you must like our opposition?' No. Have threads here suggesting various Republicans for 2016 including intelligence agency directors, and Chris Christy. I'm no more democrat or even liberal than Jindal. I just don't like Jindal, or anyone else getting his way via political dodge right after the voters told him to go stuff it.
That tired conservative line is a failed attempt to deflect.

Their such lame excuse for what jindal did is just sad and pathetic.

They point fingers instead of condemn jindal for doing something they threw fits about when Obama did it.

Just because someone did something doesn't mean it's ok for another person to do it. Especially when they defend jindal and condemn Obama.

It just shows that they were lying through their teeth when they threw fits when Obama did it. They don't care if a politician circumvents the will of the people.

Bobby Jindal Allows LGBT Discrimination With an Executive Order Care2 Causes

"When a license to discriminate bill that Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal had personally supported failed to get through the legislature this week, Jindal vowed that he would sign an executive order to “protect religious freedom.” What that adds up to, LGBT rights advocates say, is Jindal legislating from the governor’s office to give the religious the privilege of lawfully discriminating against LGBT people.

The legislation, known as HB 707 or the Louisiana Marriage and Conscience Act, would have created religious freedom exemptions for anyone opposed to same-sex marriage. Essentially, that would mean that any business or person could refuse to provide services for a married gay couple or honor or recognize a same-sex couple’s marriage.

This was seen as a preemptive strike against a possible Supreme Court ruling at the end of June that would end Louisiana’s ban on marriage equality. LGBT rights groups had lobbied against the bill, saying it essentially licensed discrimination in a way that was even more explicit than the bills that were passed but later amended in Indiana and Arkansas. Fortunately, Democratic lawmakers were able to prevent the Louisiana bill from advancing out of committee this week, effectively killing it in the process.

Governor Jindal decided that he would not allow that to be the end of the matter though and a mere two hours after the bill was defeated on Tuesday, Jindal’s office released a statement that he would create an executive order to accomplish the same aims as the bill."

So this is how democracy dies.

So you're saying the faggots have the right to be protected but religious people don't.

At least you're not afraid to show your hypocrisy

.
How is allowing people to use religion as an excuse to discriminate, "protecting religious freedom"?

A person should be free to associate or not associate with any person or group that they want. Homo's it seems simply want to force the acceptance of their abominable lifestyle on everyone around them.

Jindal did much worse than that. he circumvented the will of corporations. IBM has already announced that they are having second thoughts about expanding in Louisiana.

IBM warns Louisiana over religious freedom bill - Apr. 17 2015

Louisiana and Mississippi have been competing for generations for the title of the most backward state, in terms of education, bigotry, intolerance, poverty, and culture. Bobby has upped the stakes in this fight. Of course, MS still has the edge on abortion, having closed down every provider in the state, but one.

How do you discriminate against animal? I wasn't aware they had rights to begin with, so why would such legislation be required in the first place?

Good I hope that more corporations stop doing business with Louisiana.

jindal has opened the door to discrimination and for Louisiana to suffer from loss of tax revenue.

When will conservatives learn that the majority of Americans don't support discrimination?

No, bigot, that's not how it works in this country. You're not allowed to refuse service to a person because you don't approve of their sexual orientation.

Which is why I don't believe this nation has any freedom or morals. If I'm not free to remove a disgusting, immoral, sub-human individual from my PRIVATE business then WTF good is "freedom"?

You haven't been able to discriminate against certain groups since 1964. It's not suddenly tyranny when gays are ADDED to these existing laws.

So this is how democracy dies.

What you choose to call "license to discriminate", some would call "authority to exercise their personal rights".

Circumventing voters, especially after you asked them their opinion and they gave it, but it didn't go your way, is heinous.

Ohhhhh ... you mean like Obamacare, or the Dream Act, or the EO endorsing illegal immigration!!!

Got it ----- thanks for clearing that up.

42 U.S. Code § 2000a - Prohibition against discrimination or segregation in places of public accommodation

All persons shall be entitled to the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, and accommodations of any place of public accommodation, as defined in this section, without discrimination or segregation on the ground of race, color, religion, or national origin.

Many LOCAL (state's rights, folks) ordinances also protect gays.
