Lithium surges in cost by 430% over the past year!

Every vehicle manufacturer, which would now be all of them, have waiting lists for electric vehicles. That includes Ford, and GM for electric Lightnings, and Silverados.

You do know that you have lost the electric vehicle argument right?

You do know those manufacturers are not going stop making them to cater to conservative feelings right?

You do know there isn't a damn thing you do about it, but die mad and stupid right?
And you should know that this country has made some super costly mistakes in the past that have been swept nicely under the rug of time right ? Let's just hope that this isn't another one.

The Edsel was a huge blunder (maybe it was just before it's time who knows), also the Chevy Vega was another blunder or screw job on the American people by corporate America, the Chevette another one, the 307 Chevy engine, the GM buses with Firestone tires that replaced the trolley cars, but failed badly where as the trolley cars had to be reinstated while the buses went to the junk heep costing tax payers million's. Many more time capsules can be reviewed or learned after the facts. Hopefully this EV thing isn't going to be yet another one that ends up a quick fad, a trend, a passing, a fleecing or a huge blunder, but we will see. Time will tell.

I have no interest in electric vehicles. This is about lithium.
Its all about lithium for EVs and storage of electricity - aka soothing liberal hysteria caused by the globsl warming doomsday hoax

There are lots of sources for Lithium. Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Australia and more. There's also opportunity for investors and ambitious young men.

EV's should have to compete in the marketplace without government incentives and 'green' policies such as banning ICE vehicles in the near future which should be shut down completely. The whole EV market is based on the 'climate change' lie in the first place. We have at least 100 years of oil that we know of and there could be more. Our energy policy should be based on the cheapest most efficient source of fuel without draconian regulations and taxation. Right now, because of stupid leftist 'green' policies, the energy market cannot be trusted.
EV's and socialism go hand in hand, they're so good, they need incentives and laws.

Of course there is more lithium to be found

But thanks to environmentalists its going to be very expensive

What about ruining the land where we explore for oil? How about ruining land where we mine coal? What about ruining the land mining for the metals in your gasoline powered car?
How about moving to Africa.
The US has lots and lots of land.

There's stuff from Africa in your gasoline powered cars.

And what does your imagination tell you that sentence means?
We have lots of land from which to extract resources and our codes for doing so are stricter than anywhere else on earth.

Digging faster makes money, not slowing down production.

Producing lithium-ion batteries for electric cars would make gas companies lose much more money a lot faster than mining lithium would make them make money.
