What we need in 2020 is what Newt Gingrich always wished for: A Lincoln-Douglas style debate

LD debate follows the basic time schedule 6 - 3 - 7 - 3 - 4 - 6 - 3. Each debater gets thirteen minutes of speaking time, and three minutes of question time. The rounds rounds take approximately 45 minutes. Each debater receives four to five minutes of prep time to use between speeches however they like.

Is this something we can all agree on? A REAL debate, not the fake 2 minute soundbite infomercials they call debates!
