From Fluke's testimony:You know only the lies fed to you by your MessiahRushie. And that very same institution you say is morally against birth control pills for Sandra Fluke, offers a health insurance plan that includes BC pills for its workers!!!!! So much for that fake morality bullshit! We know what Sandra Fluke wanted. So what? She wants the American tax payers to pay for her birth control. She wants institutions who are morally against birth control pills (including the day after pill) to pay for her sex life. Why is this the taxpayers duty? Why is this a Catholic organization's duty? I also happen to be against Viagra coverage for the same reason. It is not the taxpayers job to make sure Sandra can have safe sex or grandpa can get a hard on.
LOL! You're like the king of half truths. Yes, BC pills are offered by the insurance program to teachers AND STUDENTS. As long as the birth control isn't intended to be used to prevent pregnancy. As Sandra Fluke pointed out, her friend is able to take birth control because the birth control is being used to stop cysts growing in her ovaries.
Why do people who keep screaming about separation of church and state never heed their own arguments when it's inconvenient?
"When this exception does exist, these exceptions don't accomplish their well-intended goals, because when you let university administrators or other employers, rather than women and their doctors, dictate whose medical needs are legitimate and whose are not, a woman's health takes a backseat to a bureaucracy focused on policing her body. In 65 percent of the cases at our school, our female students were interrogated by insurance representatives and university medical staff about why they needed prescriptions and whether they were lying about their symptoms. For my friend, and 20 percent of the women in her situation, she never got the insurance company to cover her prescription. Despite verification of her illness from her doctor, her claim was denied repeatedly on the assumption that she really wanted birth control to prevent pregnancy. She's gay -- so clearly, polycystic ovarian syndrome was a much more urgent concern than accidental pregnancy for her."
