I'm wondering how it is that 400 Million dollar planes that can't fly in the rain are "sustainable" and "affordable", but making sure that public employees aren't eating dog food when they retire isn't?

If Illinois cut the pensions, converted them to 401Ks and cut government employment by 20%, we might be able to avoid 3rd world status, but Madigan won't make any changes, will continue to blame Rauner and wait for a Dem governor so they can raise taxes and finally kill Illinois for good.
