Lib/Dems should ask themselves this question:

Whoa!! Zip, over your head. Let me type this a little slower so you will understand.

Your only problem is there were things done no matter how much you tried to abate it.

Now recovery is showing up and you are scambling to deny or claim it.

only the right wing base is stupid enough to buy your rants.

They are also not enough to win an election.

Exactly what things were done??

List at least three things and back them up with solid evidence.

I bet you can't!!

You really cant remember?

hell you were blowing a gasket over them.

Stimulus made you go insane remember

Where are the Dems bills for cut backs and jobs? Zero all of 2011. They didn't offer anything, except 1.2 trillion in cuts over 10 years. That is an insult and joke and got us a credit downgrade to boot.
Name one Dem entitlement program that isn't going broke.

So if the Democrats had come out in 2009 with a massive government spending cutback that would have resulted in hundreds of thousands of jobs, both government and private sector, being lost...

...that would have prevented their defeat in 2010? Seriously?

Massive?

If they would have cut back in anything at all and have offered some reforms for the big entitlement spending it might not have been as bad.

Dont you remember all your ranting about cutting medicare?

jesus you people cant remember what you say from one year to the next

So your real answer is "I don't know what I'm talking about".

OKAY. Next time just say that.

Oh Yeah, that's right they took away 500 billion in Medicare, cut Doctor's pay,so that future Seniors don't have any health care. Yeah that was a real sweet deal.

Still you haven't answered the question of, name one Dem entitlement program that isn't going broke.

Obama's plan is to spend, spend, spend until there is no way out of big government. His plan is to create a dependent mass of voters that do not work, do not pay taxes, do not contribute to society...but they do vote for Democrats and more handouts, so the Dems stay in power...and the country declines into a communist state...and he is still the leader.

Liberalism is a mental disorder.

Cutting out the FRAUD in the Medicare system would help a lot and be beneficial to the country. (Obama doesn't want that to happen. He wants the whole country to go broke. Obama is a Marxist. Get that through your thick skull!)

That's what I thought.

You can't name three things and back them up.

Economic Stimulus Timelines

Why do you think the midterm elections went so bad for democrats?

Because a lot of progressive voters who had voted for Obama in 2008 became disillusioned that he and the Democrats gave us same-old same-old, and stayed home and didn't vote.

2010 didn't prove anything except just how ridiculously susceptible republicans are to scare tactics. Conservatives need to ask themselves why they are so willing to readily support people who do nothing more than confirm fears, real or imagined.

Yes, absolutely.

Please run on that

Yes, absolutely, Freddo.

Please run on that. Obama and the dems were too moderate, they need to confirm that they are every bit as Marxist as their OWS base

Yes, you noticed since the Republicans took over the house and the Dems won't even look at any of their jobs bills things are improving.

Kinda what we've been saying all along, doing nothing is much better than doing what the 111th Congress and the Pres did to us. Great observation!!

So, the GOP's supposed "jobs" bills that passed the House and are now stuck in the Senate - which means they have not become law - are the reason for the improvement in the economy?:lol::lol: Are you sure you want to stick with that one? Republican bills that haven't become law have improved the economy?

If things are improving, "it could have been better" doesn't seem like much to run on.

[Text in brackets inserted to correct grammar and stupidity.]

I don't have any control over how the Democrats campaign, unfortunately, but yes, that's exactly what they need to do. Even better would be if they actually governed that way, but this is kind of late in the game to start.

That's right libs...just keep whistling past the graveyard.

The 2010 midterm was the GREATEST SINGLE TURNOVER of power from one party (democrats) to the other (republicans) in the HISTORY of this country!

From the local dog catcher to the US Senate, democrats were tossed out on there collective asses at a historical rate. Now you guys can claim the base was just uninterested...and that might account for some losses, but NOT the historic nature of the beating democrats took.

Just keep telling yourselves that crap. But know...middle America has awaken and progressives/socialist/liberals are about to get run back under the frig!

The 2010 election had a voter turnout of only 41%. Republicans received slightly more than half the vote. That means they were elected by something slightly better than 20% of the vote. As the Republican base itself constitutes more than one-fifth of the electorate, the outcome is entirely accounted for by progressive voters staying home.

Facts don't lie, and the fact is that hardly anyone voted for Obama in 2008 and then voted Republican in 2010. On the other hand, quite a lot of people voted for Obama in 2008 and then stayed home in 2010, so why that happened is the question Democrats need to be asking.

The dems got their asses handed to them in 2010.

Let's just say that mid-term elections traditionally don't have a large turnout. However it was larger than the mid-term in 2006. So you're saying Dragon, the Republicans won because Dems were complacent and stayed home.

Perhaps they were a little embarrassed at their hopey changey not paying their mortgages and car payments??

National Voter Turnout in Federal Elections: 1960

Why do you think the midterm elections went so bad for democrats? Only reason it wasn't worse was because the idiot Tea Partiers didn't know enough to run electable candidates. The 2010 elections went bad for you because you fucked up; you lost the confidence and good opinion of the voters. No need to list the littany of bad decisions, suffice it to say you should've addressed the problems the country wanted you to fix but instead you were more interested in your party's agenda. And for that same reason I think Obama should also be voted out; dunno if it'll happen, much depends on the economy and the UE numbers this year. But he screwed up, could've and should've done a better job even though the situation he inherited was very tough.

The economy was really bad. The Republican base was ginned up because we have a black president. Historically, few people vote in midterms. And finally, Republicans ran on "Jobs Jobs Jobs". They can't run on that this time. Fool me once, er, Bush said it best:

Why is it that only Dems/Libs have noticed that the Rs still have not introduced even one jobs bill?

Why is that only Dems/Libs have noticed that Rs have not produced even one job under the asinine Ronnie Ray-Gun tinkle down policy?

Why is it that only Dems/Libs have noticed that the Rs take their money and their jobs out of the US?

Only an idiot would believe that the first time they heard it and only an idiot would continue to believe it.

Ya wanna know why?

Because there is NO reason to believe it.

Republicans have in fact introduced job bills.

Why is that dem/libs lie?

Senate Republicans offer their own jobs bill
