Lets just say...

That's fine, but that kind of stuff is why no one takes you seriously. Act how you want to act, see if I care.

You wouldn't know a knuckledragger if he stepped on you...

You are exactly as I portrayed you... and a hypocrite to boot. Don't like being viewed that way??? then change. You have the maturity of a five year old....

Another sure sign of maturity...

What's the matter, not enough self discipline to control yourself? and you have the gall to call me a knuckledragger.

You come to this board with the sole intention of provoking people then get upset when someone strikes a nerve....

You are exactly right...Hagbard himself is a prime example....by that I mean look at how he acts towards those who do not agree with his point of view; they immediately fall into a certain class (determined by himself of course). Anyone who does not agree with Hagbard is immediately less intelligent, less educated, incapable of independent thought, etc...

Pretty hard to have a classless society under those circumstances. Then there is the whole criminal element to be dealt with, nevermind those who just "don't fit".

This was a blatent prod directed at me. You started it. Ninny ninny boo boo. I don't take you seriously either, so get over yourself.

A little present from me before I put you on ignore....

You do realize that every time you let them suck you down to this 3 yeard old ninny ninny boo boo shit that they just think less of you and of Democrats?

It might feel good, but it's doing more harm then good.

Actually, I know many Democrats who don't sink to this level.

Actually, I dont think any less of democrats because of any one individual's sophmoric antics. Most democrats i know are far more mature, far more thoughtful, and far better informed than the trolls that come to this board. There are even a few on this board that I respect.

Fair enough, but it doesn't change the fact that he needs to cut that shit out.
If you hadn't noticed...a lot of younger folks are like that...on both sides of the party lines. I think it has something to do with lack of experience in the real world.

That and a lack of self-control.

Let's just say they have had about 50 years where they could have made things better. Who, you say? Yeah, who. We have had the greatest minds, people of integrity, honesty, compassion and good will, promising us results and here we are.
You would think that they could have come up with a education system that worked. You would think they could have provided an enviornment that encouraged good wages and low unemployment rates. What's with the cost of health care and health care insurance ????
It is not my opinion or my desire to have the powers that be assume the responsibility to "take care of me". My complaint is that we have been told time and time again how our interests are their utmost concern. However we all know that big business and powerful lobbys have more influence than any individual.
The great wealth and productivity of the american work force has been squandered away, we have paid a great price and have little to show for it. The attitude that big business must prosper at all cost and that the vast profits will "trickle down" to the lower guy has proven to be a fantasy.....how can anybody be worth say 10 million a year and someone he employs be paid say 30 grand....way way out of proportion. It's where we are. There is nothing trickling down, there are lay offs and outsourcing.
And we are in debt. Big time. Personal debt is high, the federal budget runs a deficit and the national debt is nothing but irresponsible. What a mess. Watch where you step.

True. We've got a fiscally irresponsible party that caters to the wealthy and protects big business leading the nation right now and it is crusading under the guise of traditional conservatism. I don't think corporations should have the same rights as individuals either. Their ability to lobby the legislature and their ability to spend mass quantities of money make them more powerful than the individual business owner and it gives them the ability to affect legislation in forums other than business, which can have negative effects on citizens. All the while, the law grants corporations the same rights as individuals.

I agree and disagree. Big business, multinational, global corporations control everything from the clothes we wear to the information we get, to the food we eat and I think that pure capitalism run amok negatively affects those at the bottom because they end up having no say in what the policy makers at the top do. I think there should be more government controls on businesses to keep them from being able to hurt their employees and others just for the sake of business, but you can't say that someone at the top making more than someone at the bottom is unfair. A little out of proportion maybe, but not unfair when you take into consideration the top executive's worth to the company.

More government control on business???? would that maybe mean that we denied tax breaks, whatever, when a company (an executive) needs/desires to increase profits and slashes, outsources, hundreds of jobs (that generally pay under 50 grand or so, probably alot at 12 grand ) rather than reduce the compensation package for the top executives????? The very rich are getting richer, and seem insatiable. Most of us middle class folks could retire for life on the salary/compensation package some of these guys get in one year.
I dont really want more laws. I know that it is never going to be "fair". I just think we should call it what it is.......singing praises for the greedy and self indulgent is like worshipping a false idol. They have way beyond a reasonable slice of the pie.

This is a good story from the BBC that has to do with what we are talking about.

Ahhhhh spoken like a true blue socialist, everyone should have a equal share of the pie. Right?.BULL

Here’s my answer, make a BIGGER PIE! Everyone wins. It's simple.

We already have. When we live in a nation that almost all people who live in poverty have an automobile and more than one television as well as three meals a day I think we have done a pretty good job at making the pie bigger.

That was just an aside, in truth the wealthy do have a disproportionate amount of the wealth, and yes we in this country are the biggest per capita consumers.....thus tvs and autos, wealth and consumerism are linked but not dierectly.
