Circus is right. This trial is being held in order to deflect attention away from the policies that are causing Obama's poll numbers to fall. They want the nation to be talking about torture, Dick Cheney and how terrible the United States has behaved under George Bush. The nation will be encourage to talk about anything other than the current economy, the health care takover, sky high tax increases, the deficit and we should certainly not talk about the people that died on 9/11. You can bet those victims will NOT be the focus of this trial.

Barry can no longer directly 'blame Bush' as he knows that the masses are sick to death of his eternal whining and aren't buying it anymore, so this is his latest endeavor to continue pointing the finger at Bush without directly giving it 'his voice'.
