Every time you have that soil or rock or whatever it is that is deposited into the seas, that forces the sea levels to rise, because now you've got less space in those oceans, because the bottom is moving up.

Sometimes I wonder how people got to live so long. I mean how dense is the first post? Depleted uranium dense or worse?

Hmmm yeah but, if the soil and rocks are being washed off the land into the sea causing it to rise, wouldn't the less weight on the dry land cause it to rise that much as well?

Brought to you by ~ Encylopedia Batshittia. When facts are like unwanted guests that stay in your spare room and won't leave, pick up a Batshittia Encyclopedia, we'll provide a lie that will be like oil of clove for your brain. Is it safe? You bet!

(extra credit if you get the Marathon Man reference)

One of the best scenes ever!

That is not climate change.... That is simple physical displacement..

freaking moron...
Actually, Mr Freaking Pedantic, "physical" adds nothing to "displacement" and "simple" implies only a "change in position" occurred, whereas fluid was clearly involved in this case.
What part of 'fluid displacement' are you incapable of grasping?

Rock taken from dry land, thrown into ocean, displaces its mass in water...

You're going to tell me if you drop a rock in a glass of water that the dimensions of the rock will not displace water in the glass and make the water rise in equal value? Seriously?

Dimensions? You didn't say dimensions, you said mass.

"physical displacement" What the hell did you think it meant?

LOL When you address Silly Billy, you are addressing a atmospheric physicist that has never had a class in physics or statistics. LOL And then there is the little matter of isostasy. Look it up, Billy, look it up. LOL
