Various conservative groups are spreading rumors and making statements about
Obama, what he will do and what they will do to him.

1.Impeachment.According to the Constitution, the President may only be impeached for"treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors."

That means he can only be impeached if he commits a crime. He cannot be impeached just because someone does not like his policies.

2.Changing the Constitution. According to the Constitution, amending it requires a vote of 2/3 of both houses of Congress and ratification by 3/4 of the state legislatures. Obama cannot do it by himself.

Isn't jaywalking a misdemeanor?

Accusing him of Jaywalking is much more valid than all the other dumb accusations the right has made.

Congress, meaning the House, gets to decide what is a misdemeanor offense worthy of Impeachment. The Senate decides if the charge stands or is rejected.

Incorrect.

“The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

Article II, Section 4

A president may be 'impeached' because the sky is blue, removed from office only if convicted of the alleged crime(s).

As for amending the Constitution, that fails as a straw man fallacy – no one has ever maintained that a president may 'amend' the Constitution.

Clearly, you do not grok the definition of misdeameanor; and your reading comprehension is rather feeble.

The Constitution doesn't specify what 'high crimes and misdemeanors' are. In practice, they are whatever the House decides they are.

The States can call a constitutional convention themselves, bypassing congress all together. But otherwise, true.
