Lesbian Moms a Growing U.S. Phenomenon

It's funny, just this past semester in school, I was reading in my Women's Studies course that more children are sexually abused by heterosexual men than by anybody else. And that gay men were no more likely to abuse children (in any way) than heterosexual men.

But of course schools nowadays are so leftist/atheist/communist that you can't believe a word they say. :D

OCA,
actually, Im going to have to read them later.

I thought I was ok from last nite but I dont think I am and the HIV studies are something that I cannot look at right now.
But thanks for fixing the link OCA, Im sure to look at it later.

hope your having a good day

Actually, I'm majoring in Education and minoring in Criminology, but I want to get a degree in both. Originally, my major an minor used to be reversed and every now and again I feel Criminology trying to take the lime light.

I should add that with my Education major I want to teach high school government/economics.

First off welcome

Are you being sarcastic or do you actually believe that most colleges and universities don't promote a leftist agenda?

well you really ARE my friend now brneyedgrl!

Im having to homeschool my 13 y/o right now (Im integrating him back into school in the fall) and this experience has impressed upon me an even greater respect for teachers. Im having hell with it.

Also, my reason for being on this board is to learn. Im politically ignorant and dont want to be anymore.

I finished school a couple of years ago and Im SO glad to be out even though I enjoyed it. I was in for YEARS - I have a Phd in quantum metaphysics and a double minor in Theology and Theosophy.

Nobody cares what heterosexuals think. :)

Sounds silly. But think about that a moment.

Hmmm, I am willing to listen a bit! it has to be better after all these threads of flame on the homosexual stuff!:)

Well, my simple (but deep) point <(no reference to the Rocco thing intended :D ) was that heterosexuals are the norm and accepted. They are the standard.

The revolution is for people to carry on doing what they think they want to do as long as it doesn't hurt someone else---moral relativism.

This thinking makes those with a fixed standard look prudish, uncolorful and bland. We "celebrate diversity" now. -Really just a smokescreen again for moral relativism.

America likes to spotlight the "different" or gimicky. Homosexuality is perfect for this, and on top of that, it fits with a socialist agenda. In America, we are becoming overshadowed by socialist movements. In the world, that is now the predominating political force.

America doesn't care what heterosexuals think--no one does.

Heterosexuals are boring uncaring sticks-in-the-mud who can't get with the times and want to crush everyone elses "freedoms".

-At least that is the view perpetuated.
