Actually, that would be the evidence that says that Trump did stuff.

Like, his lawyer testifying that Trump tried to convince him to lie to investigators and withhold evidence. Or the page after page of classified docs they found in Trump's residence after Trump had lied to his lawyer (and compelled them to lie to authorities) that everything had been returned. Or the recording of Trump admitting that the secret docs he was showing off had never been declassified.

There's a reason why y'all avoid the topic of the evidence like it was on fire.

And that is just it, there are hundreds of unscrupulous operators out there that are more than willing to feed into their confirmation bias. From people with nothing more than a sixth grade education to flaming gay assholes that are known child predators. It doesn't matter, they feed the trolls what what they want to eat and the trolls lap it up. And worse, they buy into the conspiracy theory that the legitimate media has an agenda. It is the same thing as sticking their fingers in their ears and go "La, La, La".

What they fail to understand is the first step of a demagogue is to cast doubt on the press. Trump reaches into that well incessantly. But you can't become a despot with a truly free press. I mean now Trump is turning against Fox News. And so are his followers. Thomas Jefferson said it best, "liberty depends on a free press". Make no mistake about it, if Trump gets another term he will first seek to limit the freedom of the press. I mean do these people know nothing about history or the founding of this nation?
