Leaks confirmed: Rod Rosenstein is leaving the DoJ soon
By Thomas Lifson

The latest excuse for progressive hyperventilation is the news leaked last night to ABC News, and confirmed by several other media outlets: Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein will be leaving the Department of Justice in a matter of weeks.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein is expected to leave his role in the coming weeks, multiple sources familiar with his plans told ABC News.

Rosenstein has communicated to President Donald Trump and White House officials his plan to depart the administration around the time William Barr, Trump's nominee for attorney general, would take office following a Senate confirmation.

Well I guess we should expect the Barr confirmation to be a repeat of the Kavanaugh confirmation. Either way IMO it signals Rosenstein knows Mueller has nothing and expects he will find nothing and wants to get out before Mueller releases a big nothingbuger and enrages democrats. We all know if the Mueller report doesn't get TRUMP democrats will lose it bigly. They have bet everything on Mueller being able to take down TRUMP, if he fails all those investigations the democrats are planning lose all credibility.

Rosenstein knows that the moment that Barr takes over, the President will
fire him.

He also knows that Mueller will answer to Barr the moment Barr takes over.
Mueller was given way too much latitude and Rosenstein would be
questioned by Barr on his involvement.

Meanwhile, it is safe to say, that Mueller will now wrap up his investigation
before Barr gives him new ground rules.

The charade is going to come to an end within weeks. (No later than March)

Mueller's probe will have found no evidence of Collusion or Obstruction
and will have cost the country 30 mil dollars. The DOJ will be run properly
from here on out with the House whining about what Barr is doing and
the Senate supporting him every step of the way.

Why do you suppose these Trumpers are happy to see Rod go?

I suppose you could be right, and Mueller has found nothing. I doubt that is the case, but how do you know that he hasn't?

I just hope Barr doesn't end up being a Session repeat. As much as I want to blame Session for recusing I am reminded he was being pressured not only by elected democrats to do so, but also elected republicans.

I have no doubt Barr will be pressured to recuse and threatened with obstruction if he questions Mueller on anything. Rosenstein was allowed to oversee the Mueller investigation without question and republicans should demand Barr having the same right to oversee the Mueller investigation as was given to Rosenstein who suggested wearing a wire to record TRUMP.

If republicans join democrats in pushing Barr to make agreements on how he will handle Mueller with implications of not agreeing will be viewed as obstruction Barr will either agree and the Mueller investigation continues or he will not be confirmed and the Mueller investigation continues.

We get the "don't care part." That much has been true for decades. Republicans have never cared about anything but themselves.

However, can you clarify this stolen wealth part? How'd you calculate that? Please expound.

Barr had nothing to do with the Trump campaign. He will not have to recuse
himself. Barr will be confirmed by the Senate. The hearings might be a
sideshow, although I somewhat doubt it. They've got to save their ammo
in case something happens to Ginsburg.

The GOP will confirm Barr to let those cocky ass bitches in the House know
who is running the show and steal their early January thunder.

So this leak was confirmed by...another leak?

Barr had nothing to do with the Trump campaign. He will not have to recuse
himself.
Nobody ever HAS to recuse. But, given his public opinions stated on the investigation, the ethics panel he consults will almost certainly recommend that he do so.

Nope the democrats change the standards when they dismissed secret comments made by Strzok, Page, McCabe, Rosenstein saying they were allowed to hold personal views and they could separate their personal views from doing their job.

Rod needs to be led away out of the DOJ in handcuffs for signing off on illegal warrant requests using the Russian-authored report Hillary bought to deceive the FISA court as well as for his Obstruction - refusing to comply with Congressional subpoenas.

No, that's just the fake excuse you will vomit instead of just being honest, and saying that anything Trump or his people do is fine by you , no matter what it is
