I think the truth is that the term was used by someone, he got it fixed in his brain, and didn't think much about it. I believe they told him they would get him in, and I've no doubt he thought they were talking about scholarships. He wasn't interested though, so he didn't research it and has believed all these years that was what they were talking about.

It's really a tiny, tiny thing. I do not believe he's a dishonest man.
