OK, I've got to ask. Are you just a mindless tool of the left or are you of diminished capacity? I mean really. The USAF says they launched 801 STRIKE missions (not ECW, STRIKE missions) and dropped ordnance on 132 of those missions.

I disagree with your assessment of when Vietnam became a war:

MACV was created on February 8, 1962, in response to the increase in U.S. military assistance to South Vietnam. MACV was first implemented to assist the Military Assistance Advisory Group (MAAG) Vietnam, controlling every advisory and assistance effort in Vietnam, but was reorganized on May 15, 1964 and absorbed MAAG Vietnam to its command when combat unit deployment became too large for advisory group control.

MAAG was an advisory group whereas Kennedy sent in MACV, a full fledged Command.

What's a year or two when both Democrat Presidents were involved with the war. I'm just taking the information from numerous websites that I've studied (putting up BBC timelines because they are simple, awesome, accurate and a lib cannot say under any circumstances that the source is right wing) and the two incidents which everyone agrees on that started a full fledge war or police action or whatever anyone wants to call it was the Gulf of Tonkin/USS Maddox incidences.

Air Force and Navy aircraft are still flying hundreds of strike missions over Libya despite the Obama administration’s claim that American forces are playing only a limited support role in the NATO operation.

An Africa Command (AFRICOM) spokeswoman confirmed Wednesday that since NATO’s Operation Unified Protector (OUP) took over from the American-led Operation Odyssey Dawn on March 31, the U.S. military has flown hundreds of strike sorties. Previously, Washington had claimed that it was mostly providing intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) and tanker support to NATO forces operating over Libya.

“U.S. aircraft continue to fly support [ISR and refueling] missions, as well as strike sorties under NATO tasking,” AFRICOM spokeswoman Nicole Dalrymple said in an emailed statement. “As of today, and since 31 March, the U.S. has flown a total of 3,475 sorties in support of OUP. Of those, 801 were strike sorties, 132 of which actually dropped ordnance.”​

I hope it starts getting around on the net. The Swift Boat Vets were called a lot of names and were treated viciously in 2004. Divine justice that the main attack dog for Kerry is sitting in jail for child porn AND having his Silver Star revoked.
