Welfare recipients should be banned from buying jet airplanes and super-cars as well. What the hell are people thinking? Is this the best they can do with their time?
If you don't work properly you must not relax with ease.
I support this law but it's very hard for me to believe a welfare recipients can afford any kind of luxury or recreation. Maybe a very low percentage of abusers?

Hey, if they can stop one poor person from getting something they disapprove of, it will be worth the hundreds of thousands of dollars to implement this law and the millions to oversee it.

As usual, all the RWs care about is bigger and more intrusive laws. They don't really care that this is a law in search of a crime and that it punishes the least among us while protecting the 1%.

I mean, after all, those people have no right or reason to won such luxuries as a refrigerator or a cell phone.
They feel the need to humiliate the poor

There is no cost to the government to implement this law. Enforcement can be done at the grocery store by not allowing the cash register ring up certain products.

Are you a conservative and actually think this law is ok? When did conservatives become so big government?

Authoritarians come in both R and D flavors. And they love big government arm-twisting when it's someone else's arm.

Speaking as a farmer (who owns nothing that extravagant), farming is usually not an occupation that favors cruises or vacations of any kind.
My Grandpa would leave his cattle...alone...
It depends on the stock you have. I have dairy animals and they require daily attention. After milking, I have to process the milk. You can most often find someone to feed animals, but milking...yeah, not so much.
What fun......I don't do animal husbandry, I suck, so I just grow crops and fruit..
Takes all kinds, I suppose. I have two brown thumbs but do very well with animals. There's a trade-off in that equation somewhere. What kind of crops and fruit do you grow?

On welfare or not the government shouldn't be dictating who can do those things. You can't see the dangers of that? Are there still real conservatives somewhere?

No. It's none of my business.

Why don't we tell the truth about this issue?

The rabid right will always give lip service to "supporting our troops", caring for children, valuing the elderly, helping the handicapped but the fact is, they will always vote to harm those groups. As will Repub politicians because there just ain't no money to be squeezed out them.

If you're not a fetus OR the 1%, you're worth less than a pile of dog doo to the right.

What is so sick about their attitude is that they take real glee in condemning their own families, their own children, their own descendents to a life of servitude and poverty. In their blind obedience to The Great Muslim God of Fox, they are changing the face of our planet forever and they are just too damn dumb and invested in their ignorance to GET IT.

True "Conservatives" are extinct. Repubs are terrified of primaries. All they know is to apply lots of grease to the squeakiest wheels: fundie, RW traitors to the US.
