I agree, loved the film, and so much attention to detail.

I shall take that under advisement.
Have seen a few negative reviews.
See it just for the attention to detail.
The one thing I hate about historical films..is that they speak "modern".
Right down to the dialogue..this film nails the period.
John Williams did the score...as well.
Another huge plus.
If this film nailed it as you said they would have used the exact words that would have been used at the time. Because words from the 19th century have a different meaning than they do today.
I heard it sucked.
Now I'm sure of it.
Yeah dude.
Wouldn't recommend it to you.
They use big words..and there aren't many explosions.
And no naked people.
I heard it sucked.
Now I'm sure of it.
the hair styles and the mannerisms.
What detail?
It was the little things..like paying attention to the fashions at the time, the hair styles and the mannerisms.
That and the cast was amazing.
Sally Fields really nailed Mary Todd.
As did everyone in their roles.
See it just for the attention to detail.

Best way to determine that..is to view it yourself.
What detail?
Let me guess..Here we go......
You're right let the lies and winner re written history stay as is.
Hitler and Lincoln were both socialists and comparable in their evil.
yeah I wanna see Gidget naked.Fuck this movie then!
i think its pretty funny that asshats like warbler, bigrube et al are afraid they'll catch liberal cooties from a movie.
