Jussie Smollett Sentenced to 150 Days in Cook County Jail, Screams "I am not suicidal! I am innocent!"

What is gonna happen is most likely he will be placed into protective custody, he's just to out there, but if he is placed into population he's gonna be shaken down by the gangs, who will protect him at cost! This is only a 5-month deal, its not like he's being shipped off to Marion, he's gonna be placed into PC and he'll be out in 3-months, unless something were to occur resulting in him landing himself new charges, like shanking someone, dear God would that be epic, one can only hope... :auiqs.jpg:
Marion is a daycare center compared to Cook County jail.

It's why I don't play his silly game. childish
Yah, that's why. Okay. Sure...

How do you know he's guilty, were you there?

Note: you didn't answer the question of what principle is, or what principles are, at stake here.

Right, but what "damage" was done?

That's what I'm trying to find out.

Marc, when one commits a fraud under false pretenses in an attempt to enrich oneself (fame and fortune were Jussie's motivations), then one has committed a crime. The money one gains comes from other people who have been defrauded. He conspired with others to do this, paying other people to assist him in his illegal deed. It matters not if he was successful; he attempted this fraud.

In the process he wasted hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars while executing his genius attempt at fraud, both in terms of police investigations (Chicago taxpayers fund the police and need the police to focus on real crimes as resources are tight.), and the costs associated with his trial which he refused to take a guilty plea for.

So, there. I have answered your questions regarding principle and damage.
BTW, were you aware that this judge is known for giving light sentences to sexual criminals?

He came down harder on Juicy than he does on the sex criminals that come before him.

This was not justice dude. No matter how mad what you think Juicy did made you feel.

You aren't very good at principles, are you?

Two wrongs don't make a right.

Justice served here. If in fact justice was not served in another case, that is irrelevant, and for you to imply that soft sentences in other cases should result in a soft sentence here, is illogical and unprincipled.

If it's considered perjury, then the punishment for perjury should apply. Do you think the FBI agents who lied on sworn statements about Russia collusion should be charged?
And speaking of the FBI>.....

"FBI Lawyer Found Guilty of Forgery in Trump-Russia Probe Restored to ‘Good Standing’ by D.C. Bar

A former senior FBI lawyer who was found guilty of forgery in the Trump-Russia probe has been restored to “good standing” status by the District of Columbia Bar Association despite not fully completing his probation sentence, RealClearInvestigations reported Thursday.

The bar had a record of repeatedly accommodating Kevin Clinesmith, a now convicted felon who pleaded guilty in August 2020 to falsifying a document that was the basis for a surveillance warrant against former Trump campaign official Carter Page.

After receiving a 12-months probation sentence, which he first agreed to, Clinesmith was expected to have his attorney designation stripped. However, the D.C. Bar did not pursue that course of action, despite long-standing precedent surrounding lawyers committing crimes in legal matters.

At the heart of Clinesmith’s crime was the fact that he doctored an email to state that Page was “not a source” for the CIA when the opposite was true. By omitting the crucial detail, that Page had lawfully collaborated with the CIA as an “operation contact” to provide the agency information for years, the FBI proceeded with electronically monitoring Page as a possible Russian spy."

How about this:
Clapper lied when asked, under oath, by Senator Ron Wyden (Oregon-Democrat) " On March 12, at a hearing of the Senate Intelligence Committee, Wyden asked Clapper: “Does the NSA collect any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans?” Clapper responded: “No, sir.” When Wyden followed up by asking, “It does not?” Clapper said: “Not wittingly. There are cases where they could, inadvertently perhaps, collect—but not wittingly.” Clapper did not specify at the time that he was referring to e-mail." Yeah, that diva in a robe put on quite a melodramatic performance.

If follows that you liked it.
What’s not to like? Jussie FAKED his own beating. He purposely stoked the flames of racism and wasted thousands of $$$$ and hours of police of time. THIS IS A FACT.

But of course it follows that you think what Jussie did was OK.

Amazing, now you clowns whine about him getting 150 days for a hoax, but you are silent as hell when a cop rapes a 14yr old repeatedly and doesn't get any jail time.

No, I'm content with him being broke and disgraced. Who knows, he might have to resort to plying your evil trade on the streets, while he's still young at least.
