Labor Secretary Broke Law in Epstein Teen Sex Case, Judge Says (3)

So basically an activist judge decided to side with a bunch of snowflake sexual assault victims instead of upholding the rights of the wealthy and powerful as our founders intended..Labor Secretary Alexander Acosta and other prosecutors violated the law in hatching a plea deal with Miami hedge fund manager Jeffrey Epstein on teen sex trafficking charges, a federal judge ruled.

The judge ruled that the prosecutors violated the Crime Victims’ Rights Act by entering the agreement without telling the alleged victims and “misleading” the victims to believe that Epstein may still be prosecuted in federal court. The law gives alleged victims broad rights to be involved in and “reasonably heard” during legal proceedings.

This guy's good name is being dragged thru the mud by this witch-hunt -- he has already served 13 months in prison, what more do they want? He may have very well went to prison for something he didn't do -- if you ask one of the members of his all-star legal defense team, Alan Dershowitz who said, "They didn’t have a strong case, they had a hard time establishing that any particular woman was transported across state lines to make it a federal case.”

The real sex offenders we need to punish are the illegals flooding into our country, not people like Epstein..and if that excuse isn't good enough, its ok -- Epstein is most likely a democrat so it balances out.

Actually, the Judge ruled that the victims rights were violated as the fbi sent them a letter stating they were still investigating while a plea was being signed, and they were not notified so they could attend and testify at the hearing, if they so wished-

Marra's ruling did not overturn Epstein's plea deal or issue an order resolving the case, saying he was "not ruling that the decision not to prosecute was improper" but that "under the facts of this case, there was a violation of the victims rights under the CVRA."
....

And the above refers to the fact the state prosecuted him, rather than the feds.
There is a thread on this from yesterday where this was discussed
