Judge Judy, Conservative

So someone accuses you of being too political and you quote a Marxist as your defense?

lol, classic PC.

Oh look, Carbine is ignorantly spewing falsehood, it must be a day that ends in "y."

Look, I know Santayana taught at Harvard, which in this day would REQUIRE him to be a Marxist dedicated to the destruction of America, but Santayana joined Harvard in 1905, prior to the requirement that one worship Marx.

As for your idiocy, the debates he had (in print) with Bertrand Russel, an actual Marxist, give lie to your idiocy.

As always you are an uneducated dolt professing knowledge you don't have.

"Oh look, Carbine is ignorantly spewing falsehood, it must be a day that ends in "y."

Now...just one dang minute here!
NYLiar knows full well he is an inveterate, congenital, serial liar!

He basks in that reputation....and burnishes it on a regular basis!

OK....continue.

Why did you lie and call Judge Judy a conservative?

Should I take your stunned silence as a confession that you lied, or a concession that you had no clue what her politics actually are?

Let's leave that to any who read the OP....and hope they don't recognize you as the liar you are.

M'kay?

Okay, I'll ask right now -

which of you reading this thread agree with the OP that Judge Judy is a conservative?

...a pro-choice, pro gay marriage, voted for Clinton and Obama conservative...

Your post has nothing to do with mine.

It isn't that you claimed George Santayana a Marxist that is so outrageous, it's that you thought so little of others here to imagine you could get away with such tripe.

1. Antonio Gramsci, Italian Marxist theoretician and founding member and one-time leader of theCommunist Party of Italy. Gramschi’s motto is that of liberals today: “that all life is "political."

...that is from PC's quote. That was her response to someone accusing her of obsessing on politics.

What a pathetic life it must be to inject blind partisan politics into every aspect of your life.

2. According to Socrates, the unexamined life is not worth living. According to Aristotle, all people by nature desire to know.

3. John Stuart Mill says that
"It is better to be unhappy Socrates than a happy pig"

So....how happy are you?

So true. That explains why college students are demanding that homework take a back seat to their activist duties. It's all about politics and being good little community organizers. More time is spent protesting and being angry than having fun and learning new things.

The libs I know personally never seem to just relax and enjoy life. They are always "on" and associate every little thing with politics. It seems like many are in a perpetual state of anger over the unfairness of life. Once my liberal friends knew I wasn't a Democrat, things changed. I'm always challenged by them and I get treated to liberal talking points at every turn, as if they have a duty to try and change people. They have become as irritating a Jehovah Witnesses trying to save people by approaching them and pressuring them to listen. It's like they are brainwashed and have their marching orders, which they take seriously.

If I mention that my brother-in-law is a fireman, all I hear is how I must love socialist policies that allow him to provide this service to the community. I would gladly pay a private company for the same service. Of course, there are those who never pay a dime for anything and they love programs more than anything. If I pick up the check at lunch, I'm told that I must approve of wealth redistribution because generosity is what it's all about. I don't even try to explain that people who willingly do something is a good thing, but being forced is another matter. It's no secret that Republicans give way more to charity than Democrats. Liberal politicians seem to assume that people are stupid, selfish, unfair, and mean and they make laws accordingly. Meanwhile, they hold only themselves up as beacons of hope, fairness, and intelligence. How can liberals worship these politicians and allow them to take the reins of their lives? I really think it comes down to making policies that help create more desperate people who are ignorant about taking care of themselves, and then promising them that someone else will provide. Of course, this is exactly what some want to hear and they see it as mean when someone tells them they can and should provide for themselves.

I wish I could be optimistic about our futures....but 65,915,796 dunces voted for this unrestrained failure.

My fondest hope is that we find out that the Leftists and their party stole the election, faking votes.

Your reply to taking Judge Judy too seriously with your politics is to quote a Marxist who has been dead for almost 80 years?

"Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
George Santayana

I provide an education for folks who suffer from lack thereof.

Wise up.

Do you purposefully miss the point or what? There was no lesson, you simply quoted a dead Marxist to somehow demonstrate the importance of Judge Judy's political views, even when she doesn't state them.

1. Gramschi's posit is the reason that the vid is educational...especially for simpletons like you.

2. The judge slapped down a moron with the view that she is entitled to someone else's money via this rationalization: "she's swimming in money."

By extension, the judge slapped down Bernie, Barack, and you.

3.But....magnanimous as I am....here's a little present for your listening enjoyment:

I've loved Judge Judy for years but I don't think she's really politically partisan one way or the other. She's a traditional, common-sense type granny. She does openly support gay marriage and bragged that she officiated a gay wedding she thought was beautiful. Her common-sense reasoning, "If two consenting adults are law-abiding, tax-paying members of society, why should they be proscribed from same rights as everyone else?" Like most mainstream, non-extremist, middle-of-the-road Americans (like myself), she has a combo of liberal & conservative views. While I don't have statistics to prove it, I believe most Americans gravitate toward the political center. Like Judge Judy would say, "common sense" dictates it.

No, no, no. In your distorted view this is what you think liberalism represents. You have a cartoon daytime tv view opinion and you're trying to justify it with the history of a dead guy nobody cares about. You're trying too hard. It's Judge Judy, it's not a fight between good and evil.

You remind me of one of those morons who blames Disney for the fall of western civilization.

Right....none of 'em.
Only right wing philosophies...i.e., conservatism.

She truly did believe she was entitled to someone else's income. Sadly, that is how most Democrats see things. They're losers, therefore they feel they're entitled to steal from fellow Citizens.

How bout having an amount of children you can actually take care of? That notion seems shocking to so many. It's a pretty messed up mentality, but it is how millions of Americans think.

The exchange between the judge and the participant was political.

Shouldn't you question why others in the thread recognized same, and you are unable to?

The answer is the same reason you ignored the 'quiz.'
It's what you've been trained to do.

Others, not as weak minded as you are look at the significance of the courtroom exchange,

If ignorance is bliss....it explains your avi.

How was it political? I'm liberal and completely disagree with the the "defendant". It's a show trial, it's not even a trial as both the so called plaintiff and defendant were paid to be on the show for entertainment purposes. You're taking it way too seriously.

I think it's ironic that Judge Judy paid money to the lazy "liberal" for doing next to nothing and you eat it up as though it's reality.
