There was no voter fraud there was no reason to change voter laws to protect the vote.

So... why all the screaming over a simple, highly transparent audit? As for "no reason to change voter laws" THAT is the purview of state legislatures. If the majority in those states disagree with the audits then they can dump the offending members in the next election. That's kind of how the system is supposed to work.

Both women are absolutely correct. There was no voter fraud there was no reason to change voter laws to protect the vote. But these voter security laws give states the authority to toss out the results of the of the election if the majority of the state legislature decides it they don’t like it.

Trump consistently asked states where he lost to change the votes so that he won. Many of these voter security laws that Republicans are now passing, would allow state legislatures to do exactly that. Republicans are setting it up so that they can steal the election in the future if they don’t like the results.

The insurrection of January 6 continues.

What really needs to be investigated is how Jared Kushner managed to get a multi-million mortgage from the Saudi’s while he was in the White House.

There’s also several million dollars worth of payments to be investigated for payments for rooms at Trump golf clubs, for the Secret Service, at full rack rate, while these clubs were closed due to Covid.

But what Republicans are too shortsighted to realize is that the audits are having a very negative impact internationally. Your trading partners and strategic allies are looking at the Republican party as being authoritarian, anti-democratic, and unconstitutional.

They worried that should another Republican be elected president, that president will tear up all of your trade deals and strategic alliances just like Donald Trump.

The USA is losing jobs, trading opportunities, and investment because your democracy is being threatened by the anti-democratic policies of one of your two political parties.
