The government can't provide jobs without increasing the deficit and spending. Both will lead to a collaspe aka Greece and Argentia. The Federal Government doesn't create wealth to pay for its employees, the private sector creates wealth to provide for Federal Employees.

First taxing the private sector does:
(1) Requires private businesses to look overseas!
(2) Reduce their bottom-lines --> meaning heads rolling
(3) Go out of business
(4) Pushing higher prices onto the consumer

WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE IS THIS:
(1) END ALL PENSION FUNDS FOR GOVERNMENT WORKERS! Pension funds in the private sector have reduced from 90% in the 60s to less than 1% nowadays. The reason, they are unstainable and cause bankrutpcy. The 10 ton gorrila in the room for GM and Chysler was the unsustainable pension funds. The Jap car companies didn't fold, because they didn't have that debt. Take any State and around 50-60% of the budget goes to these pension funds. That is paid by taxes and its highway robbery!

(2) End Illegal Immigration - Believe it or not they take JOBS AMERICANS CAN AND DO WANT!!! They place HUGE burdens on schools, hospitals, social services aka welfare and section 8, prisons etc. They are killing us!

(3) Cutting spending (yes even on military and defense) is a priority: Cut spending, cut taxes and prosperity and jobs will come to the private sector.

Its NUTZ that commies like you still exist when whereever communism was practiced it FAILED!!!

I feel your anger. Does whinning help? Likely not. I suggest you get an education, a little education goes a long way in reducing anger fed by ignorance.
I suppose if you had a respectable job, worked in a sector that provided benefits - public or private - you wouldn't hate those smart enough to have earned their retirement benefit.

War, you mean the foreign policy wherein the power elite send other peoples kids into harms way? You consider that viable?
I suggested a new CETA or a new Job training Parnership Act. A Public Law providing paid on the job training for the unemployed.
And it's not up to Obama to release the dogs of war or unicorns, it's up to the Congress to work towards ending the current economic nightmare.
The jobs provided by such a program would be private/public partnership programs. For example, you own a small business producing insulated windows. The law would provide tax credits and funds to hire staff to produce/install more windows. You would train the new staff and benefit from greater sales. The government, by providing tax credits to businesses and individuals to make their buildings/homes more energy efficient would help create the market.

I've yet to see any 'conservative' suggest anything so concrete - all I read are idiotgrams, such as your comment about unicorns and rainbows. Is that the best you have? Or, are you smarter than that?

We invade Mexico and Canada simultaneously. And when we're done, we keep everything this time. We can drag it out as long as we want, or end it at anytime we chose. It isn't as if Mexico or Canada have the Armies to stand up against ours.

Almost every problem we have is solved (not sure it would help with Obamacare, but almost every other problem we have goes away overnight).

If war is not a viable option for the US, then there is no such thing as "a viable option" for anyone, anywhere, at any time. War is what we are. War is what we do. We are the Kings of war. We've never lost. War is why we are who we are. It is why the world loves us, and why the world hates us. Without wars, we are nobody, and we have nothing.

War will solve every problem we have, including the economy. But as we've pointed out, it has to be a BIG war. Bigger than the ones we're fighting now. Bigger than Vietnam. Not WWIII or anything, but a large offensive against a large target.
